Position: Fashion Designer & Professional Tailor
Location: Kumasi, Ghana

We are a growing women’s ready-to-wear fashion house in Kumasi seeking a skilled, creative, and experienced Fashion Designer & Professional Tailor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, cutting, sewing, fitting, and producing high-quality garments while maintaining excellent craftsmanship and meeting production deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and create stylish women’s ready-to-wear garments.
* Use Standard body measurements and ensure proper garment fitting.
* Draft, alter, and grade patterns as required.
* Cut fabrics and sew garments to a high professional standard.
* Produce quality finishes on all garments.
* Work efficiently to meet production schedules and deadlines.
* Recommend suitable fabrics, trims, and embellishments.
* Perform garment alterations and repairs when necessary.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
* Collaborate with the production team to ensure consistent quality.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Fashion Designer and Professional Tailor.
* Excellent cutting, sewing, and garment construction skills.
* Strong knowledge of women’s fashion trends and ready-to-wear production.
* Ability to interpret sketches and create finished garments.
* Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and time-management skills.
* A fashion-related qualification is an advantage but not mandatory with sufficient practical experience.
