Labbaik Allahumma labbaik. Labbaik laa syariika laka labbaik. Innal hamda wan ni’mata laka wal mulk. Laa syariika lak.

لَبَّيْكَ اللَّهُمَّ لَبَّيْكَ
لَبَّيْكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ لَبَّيْكَ
إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ وَالنِّعْمَةَ لَكَ وَالْمُلْكَ
لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ

“I respond to Your call O Allah! I have responded to Your call. You have no partner. I have responded to Your call. All praise, thanks and blessings are for You. All sovereignty is for You. And You have no partners with You)”

“Aku penuhi panggilan-Mu ya Allah, aku penuhi panggilan-Mu. Tiada sekutu bagi-Mu, aku penuhi panggilan-Mu. Sesungguhnya segala puji, kenikmatan, dan kekuasaan hanya milik-Mu. Tiada sekutu bagi-Mu.”

Ciri-ciri orang yang Allah senangi

Al-Qur’an Surah At-Taubah 112

attâ’ibûnal-‘âbidûnal-ḫâmidûnas-sâ’iḫûnar-râki‘ûnas-sâjidûnal-âmirûna bil-ma‘rûfi wan-nâhûna ‘anil-mungkari wal-ḫâfidhûna liḫudûdillâh, wa basysyiril-mu’minîn

[Such believers are] the repentant, the worshippers, the praisers [of Allāh], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allāh. And give good tidings to the believers.

(Mereka itulah) orang-orang yang bertobat, beribadah, memuji (Allah), mengembara (demi ilmu dan agama), rukuk dan sujud, menyuruh berbuat makruf dan mencegah berbuat mungkar, serta memelihara hukum-hukum Allah. Sampaikan kabar gembira kepada orang-orang yang beriman.

Tarawih is a sunnah and not obligatory. Rasulullah ﷺ himself did it, but did not make it an obligation.

Tarawih itu hukumnya sunnah muakkadah, bukan wajib. Rasulullah ﷺ sendiri melakukannya, tapi tidak menjadikannya kewajiban.

Five Things That Invalidate the Fast 🌙

1. Eating and Drinking on Purpose

• If a person eats or drinks consciously, their fast is clearly invalidated.
• "Forgetting to eat is actually a bonus, not a sin. Allah gives a reward. So don't panic if you've already eaten a whole plate of rice, just because you forgot. But if you do it on purpose, that's called breaking the fast before the time."

2. Husband and Wife Relations During the Day in Ramadan

• This is a major thing that invalidates the fast.
• "Fasting is a practice of restraint. If you can't restrain yourself, you've failed the test. But don't despair, there is expiation that can atone for it."

3. Intentional Vomiting

• If you vomit due to illness, it doesn't invalidate the fast. But if you intentionally vomit, it does.
• "If someone gets motion sickness and vomits, it's not their fault. But if they intentionally stick their finger down their throat, that's looking for trouble."

4. Menstrual or Postpartum Bleeding

• For women, if menstrual or postpartum bleeding occurs, their fast is invalidated.
• "That's not a weakness, but a decree from Allah. So don't feel defeated, because Allah Himself provides leniency."

5. Things That Enter Body Cavities Intentionally

• For example, injecting food, or inserting something into the mouth, nose, or ear that reaches the inside.
• "Fasting is essentially preventing something from entering the body. So if something enters intentionally, it's invalidated."

Message:

• Fasting isn't just about holding back hunger. If you only hold back food, that's what animals do.
• Fasting is an exercise in self-restraint. Holding back anger, holding back lust, and holding back your tongue from hurting others.
• "If you fast just by not eating, but still get angry, that's dieting, not fasting."

Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Baqarah 185

syahru ramadlânalladzî unzila fîhil-qur'ânu hudal lin-nâsi wa bayyinâtim minal-hudâ wal-furqân, fa man syahida mingkumusy-syahra falyashum-h, wa mang kâna marîdlan au ‘alâ safarin fa ‘iddatum min ayyâmin ukhar, yurîdullâhu bikumul-yusra wa lâ yurîdu bikumul-‘usra wa litukmilul-‘iddata wa litukabbirullâha ‘alâ mâ hadâkum wa la‘allakum tasykurûn

The month of Ramaḍān [is that] in which was revealed the Qur’ān, a guidance for the people and clear proofs of guidance and criterion. So whoever sights [the crescent of] the month, let him fast it; and whoever is ill or on a journey - then an equal number of other days. Allāh intends for you ease and does not intend for you hardship and [wants] for you to complete the period and to glorify Allāh for that [to] which He has guided you; and perhaps you will be grateful.

Bulan Ramadan adalah (bulan) yang di dalamnya diturunkan Al-Qur’an sebagai petunjuk bagi manusia dan penjelasan-penjelasan mengenai petunjuk itu serta pembeda (antara yang hak dan yang batil). Oleh karena itu, siapa di antara kamu hadir (di tempat tinggalnya atau bukan musafir) pada bulan itu, berpuasalah. Siapa yang sakit atau dalam perjalanan (lalu tidak berpuasa), maka (wajib menggantinya) sebanyak hari (yang ditinggalkannya) pada hari-hari yang lain. Allah menghendaki kemudahan bagimu dan tidak menghendaki kesukaran. Hendaklah kamu mencukupkan bilangannya dan mengagungkan Allah atas petunjuk-Nya yang diberikan kepadamu agar kamu bersyukur.

Al-Qur’an Surah An-Nas

qul a‘ûdzu birabbin-nâs

malikin-nâs

ilâhin-nâs

min syarril-waswâsil-khannâs

alladzî yuwaswisu fî shudûrin-nâs

minal-jinnati wan-nâs

Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind,

The Sovereign of mankind,

The God of mankind,

From the evil of the retreating whisperer -

Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind -

From among the jinn and mankind."

Katakanlah (Nabi Muhammad), “Aku berlindung kepada Tuhan manusia,

raja manusia,

sembahan manusia

dari kejahatan (setan) pembisik yang bersembunyi

yang membisikkan (kejahatan) ke dalam dada manusia,

dari (golongan) jin dan manusia.”

Allah sends rain, then fruit comes out, that is sustenance

Allah turunkan hujan, lalu keluar buah-buahan, itu rezeki

Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Baqarah 22

wa anzala minas-samâ'i mâ'an fa akhraja bihî minats-tsamarâti rizqal lakum, fa lâ taj‘alû lillâhi andâdaw wa antum ta‘lamûn

and sent down from the sky, rain and brought forth thereby fruits as provision for you. So do not attribute to Allāh equals while you know [that there is nothing similar to Him].

dan Dialah yang menurunkan air (hujan) dari langit, lalu Dia menghasilkan dengan (hujan) itu buah-buahan sebagai rezeki untuk kamu. Oleh karena itu, janganlah kamu mengadakan tandingan-tandingan bagi Allah, padahal kamu mengetahui.
