I remember thinking about setting up my own business 10 years ago when I had two very small children and renting an apartment it all just felt too hard.I spent my days off work and evenings doing brows at my kitchen table or going to clients houses and doing them at theirs.There was a few people who I’d mentioned my ideas too and One client who is still a client today sent me this quote
“What if I fall? Oh darling what if you fly “
I loved it so much I even had it painted on the wall of my first salon
Fast forward nearly 9 years later.One rented room and 2 premises later and here we are 🥳
Instagram can be guilty of being a highlight reel only showing the good bits.
What I’ve learnt
Not everyone will support you
You will loose people along the way
You have to keep evolving,growing and showing up for yourself
Nothing comes easy but nothing worth having comes easy
You can be a mam and have a business but there are trade offs
And Yes it’s hard …
But most of all I love what I do so i honestly dont ever feel like I work and that was always the goal right there
So for anyone scared to leave that job and take the risk.This is your sign that it will all work out one step at a time
