ERA FOUR
If Era Three was about finding my way back to purpose, Era Four became about what happened when I stopped trying to do it all alone.
This was the era of community.
Of gathering people together. Of creating spaces where women could connect, make, share, heal, laugh, cry, dream and simply exist without needing to be anything other than themselves.
It was the beginning of The Collective — and with it came this beautiful reminder that Wild Rose was never meant to just be mine.
It was meant to be shared.
This chapter became less about building a business and more about building something that felt alive.
Something collaborative.
Something rooted in creativity, connection and healing.
There were workshops, conversations, collaborations, rituals, messy tables, beautiful ideas and so many women bringing their own gifts into the room.
And I think that’s what made this era feel different.
I wasn’t just creating for people anymore.
We were creating together.
Wild Rose became a meeting place. A little pocket of community. A place where people could come as they were and hopefully leave feeling a little more inspired, a little more connected and a little more themselves.
Era Four taught me that healing doesn’t always happen quietly or alone.
Sometimes it happens around a table.
Sometimes it looks like making something with your hands.
Sometimes it’s a room full of women reminding each other who they are.
Community. The Collective. Healing. Creating.
Maybe that was the magic all along.

There is a season for planting, a season for growing… and a season for gathering what we’ve grown. 🌹
And so, for our final Wild Rose community gathering, we’re doing exactly that.
The Last Harvest is an evening to slow down, gather around the table and honour it all — what we’ve planted, what we’ve grown, what we’re ready to release and what we want to carry with us into whatever comes next.
As the Celtic wheel turns toward the darker half of the year, it feels especially fitting to spend this final evening doing what these gatherings have always been about: creating, learning, connecting and making a little magic together.
Roisin will guide us through creating an intuitive crystal bracelet, connecting with what we’re carrying, releasing and calling in.
Amy will bring us into the world of seasonal plants, flowers and folklore as we paint our own botanical watercolour wreaths.
And I’ll be returning to one of the things I love most — plants, education and ritual — as we explore herbs and flowers before blending our own botanical teas to take home. Something made by your own hands to steep slowly, sip intentionally and return to when you need a little nourishment. 🌿
At the centre of our table will be the most beautiful New Beginnings candles, made especially for this evening by Mia with Wild Rose hues, dog roses, ferns and crystals. She may not be able to join us in person, but she’ll absolutely be there in spirit. 🤍
We’ll open the doors at 6:30PM for nibbles, chats and time to settle in before beginning together at 7PM.
This one feels particularly special.
Not just because it’s the last.
But because after seven years of Wild Rose, I’m standing at the edge of my own new beginning too.
There’s grief in an ending. There’s gratitude. There’s excitement. And sometimes all three get to exist at once.
So let’s gather around the table one more time and honour the harvest before we turn toward whatever comes next.
Saturday, 22 August | 6:30–10PM
Wild Rose • Blackrock Market
Only 4 spaces remain.
We planted. We grew. We bloomed.
Now, we gather the harvest.

Seven years. A million memories. One last big party. 🌹
So… we’re having a funeral.
A happy one, I promise. 😂
Nobody died — but an era is coming to an end, and if Wild Rose is going out, she deserves a proper send-off.
Think less funeral funeral and more living funeral / Irish wake / one last big Wild Rose party. A night to celebrate her while she’s still here. To raise a glass to seven years of products, makers, markets, events, friendships, questionable decisions, big dreams, belly laughs, late nights and all the beautiful chaos in between.
And most importantly, to celebrate you — the people who somehow turned this little shop into a community.
Come for the cake, the makers, familiar faces, Polaroids, stories, a good laugh and, knowing me, probably a few tears too. 🤍
There’ll be cards around the shop so you can leave behind a little piece of your Wild Rose story — your favourite memory, your ride-or-die product, an event you loved, the first time we met, or simply what Wild Rose has meant to you. Grab the Polaroid too, because I want to keep some of these faces and memories long after the doors close.
And because every good funeral needs people fighting over the belongings… 😏
The night will also officially kick off our closing sale, and everyone who comes along gets first dibs.
Friday, 21 August
6–10PM

Come as you are. Raise a glass. Leave a memory.
Let’s give Wild Rose the happy funeral she deserves.
We’re going out with a bang 🤍

I think this was the era where Wild Rose started to become about so much more than products.
After all the growth and chaos of the years before, I found myself craving something different. Something slower. More intentional. More connected.
And somehow, that became women.
Women gathering around tables. Women creating together. Women laughing, sharing stories, making things with their hands, learning from one another and carving out a little bit of space to just be.
The events became such a huge part of Wild Rose in this chapter — candlelit evenings in the shop, workshops, rituals, beautiful meals, creative shoots, collaborations, and these little moments of magic that honestly felt like their own world.
And I think somewhere in there, I started finding my purpose again.
Not in how many shops stocked Wild Rose or how much I could produce, but in what happened when people actually came together around it.
The conversations.
The friendships.
Watching women arrive as strangers and leave feeling connected.
Creating spaces that felt warm, safe, a little bit wild, and completely themselves. 🤎
Looking back, I think Era Three was when Wild Rose softened.
And maybe I did too.
It became less about constantly chasing more and more about asking what I actually wanted this little world to feel like.
And the answer, again and again, was community.
Women. Creativity. Ritual. Connection. Purpose.
So much of what Wild Rose became from here was shaped by the women who walked through those doors, sat around those tables, collaborated with me, trusted me, laughed with me and brought their own little bit of magic into the space.
Thank you for growing with me.

It’s funny looking back at these photos because, on paper, this was probably the era where Wild Rose was on top of the world.
40+ stockists across Ireland, Europe and the US, a pharmacy distributor, photoshoots, creative projects, markets… and SO much hand sanitiser 😂 (if I never smell that again, it’ll be too soon).
Wild Rose had grown into something bigger than I ever imagined.
And these photos are beautiful. This time was beautiful in so many ways. But they also don’t tell the whole story.
Behind the scenes, my life looked very different. I was essentially a one-woman show trying to keep up with a business growing at a pace I couldn’t sustain forever, and the burnout was slowly creeping in. I just wasn’t ready — or really able — to admit that yet.
I don’t need to get into all the nitty gritty, but as I look back on these eras, it feels important not to pretend that social media reflected my whole life.
There was so much good happening alongside some really difficult things. Both were true. 🤎
And then, in the middle of all of it, came Blackrock.
We moved in as a little pop-up in 2020 and by early 2021, Wild Rose had an actual shopfront of her own.
My little boho haven.
After years of markets, boxes and bringing Wild Rose from place to place, suddenly she had a home. I filled it with treasures, decorated it like my own and created this little world that held so much of everything I loved.
Looking back, Era Two was the era of more.
More growth. More opportunities. More creativity. More pressure. More than I ever dreamed Wild Rose could become… and maybe, more than one person was ever meant to carry.
But I didn’t know that part yet.
I was still creating, still dreaming, still building my beautiful little world.
And what a world it was.
Era Two. 🌸

Most would start this by saying, “It’s with a heavy heart..”
But I’ll start by saying it’s with an eternally grateful one.
Today I’m sharing a love letter to Wild Rose.
If you’ve ever walked through our door, bought a product, hugged me at a market, or simply been a part of this little community, this letter is for you.
🤍 swipe to read.
love,

There was something really beautiful about this night.
Candlelight flickering, snowdrops on the table, hands busy creating, conversations unfolding slowly. Imbolc marks the returning light — that quiet shift where winter begins to soften and we remember that growth is already happening beneath the surface.
We gathered to create, to reflect, to sit together, and to honour Brigid and this gentle turning of the season.
Thank you to everyone who came and shared the space with us. Nights like this are why I love opening the shop for community 🤍
These nights are quickly becoming one of my favorite parts of having the shop. Watching people come in, sit down together, make things with their hands, share stories, and leave feeling a little lighter — it really reminds me why I love this space and this community so much.
If you missed our last gathering, we’re meeting again on February 7 from 6:30–9:30pm for Rituals of Imbolc — Honouring Brigid & the Returning Light at Wild Rose Botanicals in Blackrock Market.
It’s an evening of creativity and gentle rituals, with time for reflection, making beautiful things together, and enjoying cakes and cacao along the way. Imbolc marks the start of spring on the Celtic calendar — a moment to pause, reset, and welcome what’s ahead after the long winter.
If that sounds like something your heart could use right now, we’d really love to have you there. Come with a friend or come on your own — you’ll be very welcome 🤍

Rituals of Imbolc 🤍✨
join us in our apothecary space to honor imbolc, the sacred turning toward spring + the returning light.
we’ll begin the evening by opening the space with a cup of ceremonial cacao + a grounding meditation, then move into an evening of creativity, ritual, and sacred making. guided by the energy of brigid, goddess of the flame, healing, creativity + the hearth we’ll deepen our connection to renewal and the quiet awakening of the earth.
together, we’ll craft ritual tools to support intention, protection + growth as we move out of winter and into what’s beginning to stir.
🌿 what we’ll create together:
✨ an intuitively guided crystal bracelet with
wearable talismans for creativity, courage + renewal
✨ a restorative bath ritual with
salts, essential oils + flowers to soften the body, soothe the spirit + gently thaw from winter’s holding
✨ a sacred smudge bundle with
.candles a ritual of cleansing + protection, clearing stagnant energy + blessing our spaces as the light returns
these tools can be used to tend the energetic hearth of your home, just as brigid tends the sacred flame.
no experience needed, just an open heart + a willingness to create with purpose 🌱
this is an intimate gathering of 9 people, allowing space for connection, depth + shared wisdom.
please DM to reserve your spot 🔮
an evening you won’t want to miss 🔥💚

on friday night we hosted our rituals for samhain event 🔮✨
i know there will be fun reels + more content to come but i just wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to the women who gathered with us, showed up for themselves + wove some potent magic together.
i’m still buzzin from the evening.
what a privilege it was to witness other creatives come alive in their craft. to my other witches thank you for creating some real life hocus pocus with me ✨
thank you roisin for leading such a potent meditation + teaching us to make our own intuitively guided bracelets. to watch you come alive + literally glowing as you taught and held space was so beautiful.
thank you mia .candles for showing us how to make a spell jar to mark this descent into the darkness. to watch you with such grace weave the tangible + natural world with the spiritual and metaphysical realms was so special.
my heart is so full 🤍 i’ve always had a vision that the shop would always be a space for gathering + community. and at many different times it has, but last year i had to honor my own need to pause, breathe, and to fill my cup up, to trust that the time would come again. and it has.
this was the beginning of something beautiful ✨
