old standards. A native of Poland, throughout school I excelled as a watercolourist and draftswoman, winning numerous prizes in this field. After graduating from high school I completed a Masters degree in cosmetology and went on to build my own very successful business. In the early 2000s, having been aware of the Semi Permanent phenomenon for a number of years, I decided to undergo training with Long Time Liner, culminating in Elite and Medical Diplomas. At last I had discovered my true calling-a perfect fusion of my passion for art and my love of the beauty industry. In the succeeding years I travelled throughout Germany, Poland, England, Wales and Ireland during the course of my work. I worked with women who wanted to be the best version of themselves and those less fortunate who required remedial work done as a result of cancer treatments or accidents. These treatments included the ultra realistic Semi Permanent Tattooing of ni***es and areolae in the aftermath of mastectomy and the camouflage of scarification on the face, body, scalp and eyebrow regions due to medical conditions, chemotherapy or accidents. I was mesmerised and humbled by the joy and happiness that these treatments could bring about in my clients. It was during the course my travels that I was fortunate enough to meet and marry my spiritual and emotional other half and to become Monika Johnston! Ireland has been my home ever since. I am passionately interested in all the latest developments in the Semi Permanent Makeup world and attend many seminars and conferences given by the leading lights and innovators worldwide. This keeps my finger on the pulse of cutting edge developments and enables me to incorporate these into my work. Patient and engaging by nature, I listen to what my clients envision and desire. Having done so, I will offer my own suggestions which will often contain possibilities that had not occurred to my client. In this way my clients achieve what they want and even more in the light of my experience and expertise. I have to say that the look of joy on my clients faces, when they see the result of their treatment, makes Semi Permanent Makeup my dream job!
