This week in the Wellbeing Series 🌱
We talked about the juggle: balancing work, family, and everything in between.
Host Claire McKenna was joined by Fiona Parfrey (CEO of Riley) and family psychotherapist Richard Hogan for an honest conversation about the mental load, letting go of perfect, giving kids room to grow, and being kinder to ourselves on the hard days.
A reminder that you can’t do everything all at once, and that’s okay.

We’re proud to welcome our new partner, Looking After Me.
Looking After Me does brilliant work; Proactive, personal, human-led wellbeing coaching that keeps people steady and supported day to day.
We share a belief that getting to people early makes all the difference.
Where it makes sense, we’ll be working alongside each other, connecting people to the right support at the right time.
Looking forward to what’s to come!
Many of your people are working hard and getting very little back. Not because they lack ability — but because no one has helped them think clearly about where they are, what they want, and how to move forward.
On 17 June, career consultant Lynda Barry and executive coach joined our Perform & Progress session to help employees rebuild confidence, increase visibility, and sustain performance.
Because career development is not a nice-to-have. It is how organisations retain good people and build a culture where performance feels sustainable rather than exhausting.

We’re thrilled to be shortlisted for Best Add-On Support Service (3rd Party) at the Health & Protection Awards 2026.
Too often, people find themselves navigating a fragmented mix of health and wellbeing services with no clear path from one to the next.
Our work is about changing that - bringing services together into one connected platform, with one front door and one continuous care journey.
From early intervention and digital support through to counselling, psychology, and specialist care. Clinically backed, seamlessly connected, and built around the people who need it most.
Congratulations to everyone shortlisted!

When did you last step outside and feel genuinely better for it?
Last week in our Wellbeing Series, we hosted one of the most grounding conversations we’ve had in a while.
Clare McKenna was joined by Cara Byrne, Ireland’s first hiking psychotherapist, and John Boland from Get Up Adventures, for an honest, warm discussion about what the outdoors can actually do for your mental health and your body.
Not in a vague, “fresh air is good for you” way. In a real, life-changing way.
Cara and John shared stories from people who found their way back to themselves through the trails. Through movement, through nature, through simply getting out of their own heads.
If you’ve been carrying stress, struggling to switch off, or just feeling a little disconnected from yourself lately, this session was made for you.
At Spectrum.Life, we believe that wellbeing support should meet people where they are, not where we think they should be.
