Last week I treated myself to a visit to Sarah Hunter Lingerie in Westbury Mall, Dublin—and honestly, it was such a refreshing experience.

I was looked after by the lovely Daina, who took the time to guide me through the beautiful pieces in the boutique and gave me a proper fitting (which makes all the difference!). As someone with a bigger bust, finding lingerie that’s both supportive and stylish isn’t always easy—but this felt like a game changer.

Lingerie industry experts estimate that up to 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size. Poor fit doesn’t just affect appearance—it can lead to daily discomfort, poor posture, and even a quiet erosion of confidence. And honestly, I could see why getting properly fitted is so important after this experience.

Let’s be honest—so many of us walk into lingerie shops carrying a bit of body doubt with us. But this experience felt different. It was relaxed, supportive, and genuinely empowering.

Daina also shared some brilliant tips, especially for brides and mothers of the bride—like thinking ahead about dress styles and making sure you have the right support (hello, thicker straps when needed!). It’s the kind of advice that makes such a difference on big days.

The Bridal Barn is the ultimate prep space — loads of room, gorgeous food, and the lovely Lisa always on hand to help. The salon area is just perfect… large mirrors, soft lighting, ceiling plugs (no cables on the floor 🙌), adjustable low-back chairs, and a trolley at the perfect height for all my equipment.

The team really have thought of everything to make your wedding morning calm, comfortable and seamless. That same care and attention to detail flows through every part of your day ✨
