✨ I’m delighted to share that I’m a finalist for Science Woman of the Year at the Business Post Women in STEM Awards 2026! 🧪

And here’s one fact about me you might not know…

You may know me as the founder of Twin Skin, but Twin Skin is actually only one part of what I do.

I’m a formulation chemist with over 20 years of experience in cosmetic science, with a Master’s degree in Cosmetic Chemistry and postgraduate qualifications in Cosmetic Quality and Safety Assessment.

I also run my own cosmetic formulation and product development business, Skinventions Ireland Ltd.

Through Skinventions Ireland, I help beauty entrepreneurs and established brands turn their ideas into real, safe and professionally developed cosmetic products — from the initial concept and formulation, through technical and regulatory documentation, product safety and testing, all the way to preparing products for manufacture and scale-up.

So being recognised in the Science Woman of the Year category is particularly special to me. 💫

Cosmetic science and formulation have been at the heart of my career for more than two decades — and that experience ultimately led me to create Twin Skin, my own skincare brand.

Twin Skin brings together both sides of me: a woman who understands how our skin changes with age, and a scientist who knows how to formulate for those changes.
