A room full of people talking periods? Exactly where we wanted to be. 💜
We recently joined the National-Level Cross-Learning Workshop on Menstrual Hygiene Management, alongside government teams, UNICEF colleagues, development partners and others working across menstrual health in India.
What stayed with us was how much bigger the conversation has become.
It’s not only about access to products. It’s also about education, choice, safe spaces to change, waste, implementation at scale and increasingly, sustainability.
For almost 10 years, Saathi has been asking how period care can meet people’s needs without leaving behind centuries of waste.
We left with new perspectives and plenty to think about.
And honestly, that’s probably the best outcome of a good cross-learning workshop.
