Nagaland's Lily Hashnu Wins Gold at South Asian Bodybuilding Championship 2026

Nagaland's Lily Hashnu has brought pride to the Northeast and the nation by winning the Gold Medal in the Women's Model Physique (Up to 155 cm) category at the 16th South Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship 2026, held in Thimphu, Bhutan.
Before departing for the championship, Lily had expressed that her only goal was to give her best, saying:
"The rest is up to the Almighty and the judges."
Describing bodybuilding as one of the most underrated sports in Nagaland, Lily said she hopes her achievement will inspire more young people to embrace fitness and pursue competitive bodybuilding.
Her victory marks a significant milestone for Nagaland's bodybuilding community and adds another international sporting achievement to India's growing list of successes on the global stage.
The Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) also congratulated Lily Hashnu on her remarkable accomplishment.
