Things I beg my brides NOT to do on their wedding day 👰🏻‍♀️

1. Don’t skip breakfast.
Have something light and familiar so you have enough energy for your big day.
2. Don’t change your bridal makeup reference last minute.
Trust the look you discussed and approved beforehand. Last minute changes only add stress.
3. Don’t get ready in a cluttered space.
Keep your getting ready area clean, spacious and organised. It makes your bridal makeup process much smoother.
4. Don’t wait until the wedding day for a fit check.
Try your outfit a few days before and check your blouse, drape, footwear and jewellery to avoid surprises.
5. Don’t overdo the dewy look.
That bridal glow is beautiful, but your makeup also needs to last through rituals, photos and hours of celebrations.
6. Don’t underestimate your wedding timeline.
Getting dressed, jewellery, saree fixing and pictures take time. Always keep some buffer, especially around your rituals.
7. Don’t forget to enjoy your wedding.
Stop worrying about every little detail, take a breath and be present. Your wedding day deserves to be enjoyed, not just managed. 🤍
