Being a nurse and a caregiver is one of the most tedious, most demanding job of all times . You need to extremely patient to deal with someone who is in pain , or diseased , or dealing with illness. But our nurses do it with so much ease and with a big smile . I thank all the nurses today for being the most important part of any hospital .

As a surgeon I get many patients who I get attached to in their journey of healing . One of such patients is Mrs. Indumathi who's uterine cancer surgery journey was a tough one but our team of surgeons at PSRI Hospital did our best to give her as fast a recovery as possible . I am so happy she's doing well now and will be living a healthy and a happy life . And healing patients like her is what makes this tough journey of being a surgeon absolutely worthwhile .

On this world cancer day , we went to screen women above the age of 40 for breast cancer . These women reside in an old age home where they are taken care of very well and if we could play a part in maintaing their good health , it will mean the world to us .
