A few reflections from our students after spending time with the Sitar — exploring, listening, discovering, and experiencing music in a way that goes beyond simply playing an instrument.

It was a space to go deeper into the music, to refine what is already familiar, and to look at the Sitar through a fresh perspective.

There are moments when we don’t need to understand, fix, or change anything.

Two days. One beautiful musical journey.

Our Sitar Workshop with Dr. Soumitra Thakur on 8th & 9th August was a grand success — a full house, wonderful energy, and two days immersed in the art of Sitar.

A special thank you to Dr. Anirban Bhattacharyya for enriching the workshop with a special session on Vocal Understanding, and to Shri Mahavir Chandrawat for his accompaniment and an insightful Taal Vidya session.

Our 12-hour Intensive Sitar Workshop begins this 8th & 9th August. With only 3 offline seats remaining, this workshop is designed for musicians with at least 6–8 months of training on Sitar or other Indian Classical instruments.
Conducted 2 PM–8 PM IST to accommodate most international time zones, it also includes a dedicated Rhythm Masterclass (8th Aug) and Vocal Masterclass (9th Aug) to deepen your understanding beyond the instrument.
