Attending the BRICS CCI Women Empowerment Annual Summit & Felicitations 2026 in India was truly inspiring. Surrounded by visionary women from around the world, I witnessed the power of leadership, collaboration, and innovation firsthand.

Being named 1st Runner-Up in the Global Women Leadership Program was an honour, but the real reward was the shift in perspective it brought. The insight is simple: design for today, build for tomorrow’s ecosystem. This mindset instired our latest initiative, a token-based sanitary towel dispensing
solution.

Thoughtfully designed, it empowers girls to access menstrual products independently and with dignity while supporting school attendance. Small solutions, lasting impact.

At Dillets, we are committed to nurturing potential, creating opportunity, and elevating lives. When one girl is empowered, the ripple effects are endless.

Women and girls deserve more than uncertainty when it comes to products used on their bodies every month.

Recent findings about chemicals in some sanitary towels have raised serious questions. One truth that matters is that most brands on our shelves are not manufactured locally. They are produced elsewhere and rebranded for sale here, leaving consumers with limited visibility into how they are made.

Dillets sanitary towels are manufactured locally. This means greater oversight, stronger accountability and a commitment to meeting the needs of the women and girls we serve.

I’m grateful for the doors this opens: new partnerships, new countries, new possibilities. But most of all, I’m grateful for the mission to ensure menstrual dignity reaches every girl, every woman, everywhere.

On 16 January 2026, Kwazulu Holdings made a meaningful impact at Thuthukani primary school in Kwaggafontein.

With 4 disposable pads each, these girls now have the support they need to manage their periods with comfort, confidence, and dignity at an important moment in their journey.

This is meaningful impact in action:

• acting with intention
• supporting girls when it matters most

Standing at the G20 SA Summit reminded me how important inclusive conversations are.
Menstruation shouldn’t be hidden or spoken about only by women.
Our fathers, brothers, boys and uncles must be part of the dialogue too.
