“I have Diastasis Recti… can I get pregnant again?”

This is one of the most common questions I hear from mothers who are planning another pregnancy.

The good news is 👉 having Diastasis Recti does not automatically mean you cannot get pregnant again.

But before planning your next pregnancy, it's important to understand that DR is not just about the gap.
We also need to look at:

✔️ Core strength & control
✔️ Breathing pattern
✔️ Abdominal pressure management
✔️ Doming/coning during movements
✔️ Pelvic floor function
✔️ Any pain, heaviness or other symptoms

Planning another pregnancy with DR? Save this post.
💬 Comment “PREGNANCY” if you want me to make a detailed video on how to prepare your core before your next pregnancy.

You don't necessarily need to have a “zero gap” before another pregnancy. The goal is to understand how well your abdominal wall and core are functioning and prepare your body appropriately.
And if you're already pregnant with DR, don't panic. Pregnancy naturally changes the abdominal wall, and your exercise program may need to be modified according to your stage of pregnancy and symptoms.

DR doesn't mean you have to give up on your plans for another baby. But your body deserves the right assessment and guidance.

Thinking about a tummy tuck after pregnancy? Read this first. 👇

A postpartum tummy can change for many reasons—not just excess fat or loose skin.

Diastasis Recti, core weakness, abdominal pressure management, posture and changes in the abdominal tissues can all contribute to how your tummy looks and feels after pregnancy.

That’s why I always recommend assessment before deciding on any treatment. A tummy tuck may be appropriate for some women, but it shouldn't be the first assumption for everyone.

✨ First understand WHY your tummy looks this way. Then decide what your body needs.

If you're struggling with a postpartum tummy, Diastasis Recti, abdominal separation or core weakness, kindly scroll down and check our page ” to know more about assessment and rehabilitation.

DR या urinary leakage? Start with these 3 basics!

अगर core weak है या pelvic floor और core की coordination सही नहीं है, तो सिर्फ “more Kegels” हमेशा solution नहीं होता.

Try these 3 foundational exercises:

1️⃣ Pelvic Tilt
2️⃣ Ball Press
3️⃣ Breathing + Core Activation

Focus on breathing, pressure management & coordination rather than simply doing more repetitions.

Save this reel and add these basics to your rehab routine.

Remember: Every DR or urinary leakage case is different, so exercises should be progressed according to your assessment.

3 mistakes after delivery that may keep your tummy looking pushed out 👇

Many new moms unknowingly do these things during postpartum recovery.

1️⃣ Starting intense ab exercises too soon
Crunches, sit-ups, aggressive planks or random online workouts may not be appropriate for everyone, especially when your core control and pressure management haven't recovered yet.

2️⃣ Ignoring breathing & pressure management
How you breathe matters. Holding your breath or constantly pushing pressure outward during exercises can make it harder to coordinate your deep core and pelvic floor.

3️⃣ Focusing only on the tummy appearance
A postpartum tummy isn't always just about fat. Diastasis Recti, core weakness, poor abdominal pressure management, posture and overall recovery can all play a role.

Postpartum recovery isn't about doing MORE exercises.
It's about doing the RIGHT exercises at the RIGHT stage for your body.

If you're struggling with a persistent postpartum tummy, doming/coning or suspect Diastasis Recti, get assessed rather than simply adding more exercises.

Your DR number is only one part of the story.

Diastasis Recti recovery is not about doing random exercises or following the same routine as everyone else. Your breathing, pressure management, core control, abdominal tension and symptoms all matter.

If you're confused about what to do for your DR and where to start, I've put together a Complete DR Guide to help you understand the basics and your next steps.

📩 DM “DR GUIDE” and I'll send it to you.

“You only show the problem… where’s the solution?”
We hear this A LOT.

But the truth is — we have already shared multiple videos explaining the solution.

From how to assess Diastasis Recti, to breathing & pressure management, core activation, abdominal wall control and progressive rehab — we have uploaded detailed videos on what to do and how to approach DR rehabilitation.

And remember, every postpartum tummy is different.
The right rehab protocol depends on the assessment, symptoms, pressure management and individual presentation — not just the gap measurement.

👉 If you have DR, go through our previous videos — the solutions are already there.
And if you want to understand DR assessment + rehabilitation in a structured way, our Diastasis Recti Masterclass is happening TOMORROW (9th August)

We’ll be discussing what to assess, what to avoid, how to progress exercises and how to approach DR rehabilitation practically.
