By gently connecting the thumb and index finger, it is believed to help calm the mind, improve focus, and bring more awareness inward 🧘♀️
Off the mat, it can be a beautiful little practice during stressful moments too.
While sitting at work, before sleeping, during deep breathing, or even while having your morning tea ☕✨
For women, many people find it supportive for:

Lotus Mudra 🌸✨
A beautiful hand gesture that looks like a blooming lotus, rooted below and open above.
In yoga, Lotus Mudra is connected to the heart chakra. It gently reminds us to stay open, soft, and grounded, even when life feels busy or heavy 🤍
Mudras are helpful because they bring the mind and body into one focus. A simple hand position can support calm breathing, emotional balance, and a deeper connection to your practice 🌿
One habit to try:
Sit for 2 minutes every morning, hold Lotus Mudra near your heart, close your eyes, and take 5 slow breaths.
