The Invisible Weight We Carry

At work, when you give it your all and your manager doesn’t acknowledge it, you feel unappreciated. It stings.

The laundry gets done. Meals appear on the table. The house stays in order. The kids are cared for. Work deadlines are met. Yet, no one asks, “How do you do it all?” No one says, “I see you.”

But here’s the truth: Just because it’s expected doesn’t mean it’s easy. And just because it’s unseen doesn’t mean it doesn’t matter.

To all those carrying the weight of a hundred thankless tasks every day—you are not invisible. You are incredible.

When you’re stressed, avoid arguing with the person responsible for it. Instead, focus on doing something you enjoy. This will not only reduce your stress but also bring you happiness since you’re engaging in something you love. Arguing will only make you seem like the villain to others, while the person responsible for your stress is unlikely to change.
