One of the first things I talk to my patients about when they come to my clinic for IVF is: lifestyle.
Because IVF is not just about the procedure itself. The habits you follow alongside your treatment can also play an important role in supporting your overall health and fertility journey.
That’s why, whenever a patient visits the clinic, lifestyle is often one of the first things we discuss.
I always encourage my patients to focus on the basics first: eating a balanced diet, staying physically active, getting enough sleep, managing stress, avoiding habits that may negatively affect fertility, and being consistent with these changes.
Because IVF can be physically and emotionally demanding, supporting your body throughout the process matters.
And lifestyle changes don’t have to mean completely changing your life overnight. It’s about making realistic, personalised changes that you can actually sustain throughout your fertility journey.
That’s also why I partnered with NewKind’s 3 Month Fertility Program.
The program brings together:
✅ Expert medical guidance
✅ Personalised nutrition
✅ Yoga and movement
✅ Stress-management support
✅ Daily and monthly tracking
…. all designed to support you alongside your fertility treatment and individual fertility goals.
If you’re preparing for IVF or already going through treatment, remember: your lifestyle is a part of your fertility journey too.
Small, consistent changes can help you take better care of yourself through the process.

“We’ve tried everything.”
That’s what Bhavna and Rounak thought too. After 4 years of trying, failed IUI and IVF, bilateral tubal blockage, high DNA fragmentation, poor s***m morphology, and multiple nutritional deficiencies, they had almost accepted that pregnancy would be impossible for them.
But we focused on something very different. We worked on the biology to improve their quality & health.
✔️ Optimising hormones
✔️ Improving s***m DNA integrity
✔️ Correcting nutritional deficiencies
✔️ Supporting healthy weight and metabolism
✔️ Managing stress
✔️ Coordinating with their treating doctor every step of the way
Because fertility isn’t usually one problem. It’s often several small factors that quietly add up over time.
Just 77 days later, they conceived naturally. 🤍
Every journey is different, and no program can promise the same outcome for everyone.
But when you identify what’s standing in the way and work on it systematically, the body can often respond in remarkable ways.
If you’ve been trying for months or years, preparing for IVF, or wondering what else you can do to improve your chances, you don’t have to navigate it alone.
🩵 Your good news could be next.

Caption: 👉🏻 Toxins are everywhere. But does that mean you need to change everything when you’re trying to conceive?
↪️ From the products we use to the food we eat and the containers we store it in, we can be exposed to a range of environmental chemicals in everyday life. Some of these, including certain endocrine-disrupting chemicals, have been studied for their potential impact on reproductive health.
‼️ But this doesn’t mean you need to panic or eliminate everything from your routine.
Small, practical changes can help reduce unnecessary exposure. Choosing fragrance-free products, using glass or steel for food storage, limiting reliance on non-stick cookware and choosing fresh, minimally processed foods more often are simple places to start.
🩷 The goal isn’t perfection. It’s reducing what you reasonably can, without adding more stress to your fertility journey.
🗣️ At NewKind Fertility, we look at fertility as a whole. Environmental exposures are just one piece of the bigger picture, alongside reproductive health, hormones, nutrition, lifestyle and other individual fertility factors.
💾 Save this for a few simple swaps you can consider while trying to conceive.

👉🏻 Low AMH doesn’t automatically mean you can’t conceive naturally. But what does it actually mean for your fertility journey?
↪️ AMH, or Anti-Müllerian Hormone, is a marker of ovarian reserve. It gives us an idea about the number of eggs remaining in the ovaries, but it does not tell us whether you can or cannot get pregnant naturally.
‼️ A low AMH does not automatically mean:
❌ You cannot conceive naturally.
❌ You need IVF immediately.
❌ You have poor egg quality.
❌ You have no chance of pregnancy.
🩷 But it is important to understand what low AMH means for YOU.
Your age, menstrual history, ovulation, partner’s s***m health, medical history and how long you’ve been trying to conceive all matter when assessing your fertility.
🗣️ At NewKind Fertility, we believe that one hormone value should never define your fertility journey. We look at your complete fertility picture to help you understand your options and make informed decisions about your next steps.
💬 Low AMH is a reason to understand your fertility better, not a reason to lose hope.
💾 Save this if you have been told you have low AMH or are wondering whether you can conceive naturally.

👉🏻 A “normal” s***m count doesn’t always mean everything is fine. So, why does every s***m parameter matter?
↪️ A semen analysis looks at multiple parameters, including s***m count, concentration, motility, morphology and sometimes DNA fragmentation. Each one tells us something different about s***m health and reproductive potential.
‼️ You can have a good s***m count but poor motility. You can have good motility but abnormal morphology. And you can have seemingly normal basic parameters with high DNA fragmentation.
🩷 That’s why looking at just one number can miss the bigger picture.
🗣️ At NewKind Fertility, we look at s***m health as a whole. We consider the complete semen analysis along with medical history, hormones, metabolic health, lifestyle, nutrition and other fertility markers to understand what may be affecting s***m quality.
💬 Because fertility isn’t about getting one number “right”. Every parameter tells a part of the story.
💾 Save this if you’re trying to conceive and want to understand what your semen analysis really means.

👉🏻 Could your everyday lifestyle be affecting your fertility?
↪️ When you’re trying to conceive, fertility isn’t just about what happens during your fertile window. Your everyday habits can also influence the environment in which eggs and s***m develop.
🧬 Sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, alcohol, smoking and metabolic health can all play a role in reproductive health. These factors can influence hormone balance, ovulation, s***m production, s***m quality and overall reproductive function.
‼️ This doesn’t mean you need to completely change your life overnight. But consistently supporting your health can help create a healthier foundation for conception.
💡 Think small, sustainable changes: prioritising sleep, eating a balanced diet, staying physically active, managing stress and limiting habits that may negatively impact fertility.
At NewKind Fertility, we believe preparing for pregnancy means looking beyond a single fertility test or treatment. Your lifestyle is part of the bigger picture, too. 🩵

👉🏻 You get your period every month. But does that always mean you’re ovulating?
↪️ Not necessarily. Having a regular period doesn’t always confirm that ovulation is happening regularly. What matters when you’re trying to conceive is whether an egg is actually being released and when.
‼️ Your body can give you clues around ovulation, including changes in cervical mucus, a rise in basal body temperature and hormonal changes such as the LH surge. Tracking these signs can help you better understand your fertile window and ovulation timing.
🩷 But symptoms alone don’t always give you the full picture. If your cycles are unpredictable, you’re unsure whether you’re ovulating or you’ve been trying to conceive without success, it may be worth looking deeper.
🗣️ At NewKind Fertility, we help you understand what’s happening with your cycle, assess your ovulation and identify the right next step for your fertility journey.
💬 Because getting your period is one part of your cycle. Ovulation is another.

👉🏻 Fertility care is often focused on one goal: conceiving as quickly as possible.
↪️ But what if the better question isn’t “How soon can we conceive?” — but “What’s making conception difficult in the first place?”
💬 Fertility is influenced by more than just ovulation or s***m count. Hormonal health, nutrition, metabolic health, stress, sleep, lifestyle and underlying medical factors can all play a role.
🫵🏻 At NewKind Fertility, we believe in looking beyond the symptom and understanding what’s happening at the root.
That means personalised support, medical guidance and lifestyle interventions designed around you — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Because fertility care shouldn’t just be about helping you conceive.
It should be about understanding your health as a whole. 🩵

🩵 More protein isn’t always better.
Protein is important, but your protein requirements are not the same as everyone else’s. Your age, body composition, activity levels, overall health and individual nutritional needs all play a role in determining how much you actually need.
👉🏻 And when you’re trying to conceive, focusing only on hitting a certain protein number can mean overlooking the bigger picture.
We also need to consider the quality of your protein sources, carbohydrates, healthy fats, fibre, vitamins and minerals, and whether you’re getting enough overall nutrition to support your body.
At NewKind Fertility, we don’t believe in chasing nutrition trends or adding more of one nutrient just because it’s popular. We look at your individual needs and work towards a balanced diet that supports your overall health and fertility goals.
Because a fertility-friendly diet isn’t about getting the highest amount of protein possible. It’s about giving your body the right balance of nutrients it needs.
⌛️ Save this before you add another scoop of protein powder: more isn’t necessarily better. The right amount for you matters more.

👉🏻 Your weight matters when you’re trying to conceive. But what’s the ideal range?
↪️ Being significantly underweight or overweight can affect reproductive health in both women and men. Your weight can influence hormones, ovulation, s***m production and overall fertility.
‼️ For women, being underweight may disrupt ovulation and menstrual cycles, while excess weight can affect insulin sensitivity, hormone balance and ovulation. For men, excess weight can also affect testosterone levels, s***m count, motility and overall s***m quality.
🩷 The goal isn’t a “perfect” number on the scale. It’s about maintaining a healthy weight that supports your metabolic, hormonal and reproductive health.
🗣️ At NewKind Fertility, we don’t look at weight in isolation. We consider your medical history, hormones, nutrition, movement, metabolic health, lifestyle and fertility markers to understand what your body needs before you try to conceive.
💬 Because when it comes to fertility, your weight is more than just a number.
