✨ BIG CHANGE IN WOMEN’S HEALTH ✨

On 12 May 2026, The Lancet officially published the global consensus renaming:

PCOS → PMOS

Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome

Why the change?
Because “Polycystic O***y Syndrome” never truly described the condition correctly.

👉 PCOS is NOT just about ovaries.
👉 It is NOT actually a disease of ovarian cysts alone.
👉 It is a complex hormonal + metabolic + reproductive condition affecting the whole body.

The new name reflects the real science behind the condition:

🔹 Polyendocrine → multiple hormones are involved
🔹 Metabolic → insulin resistance, weight struggles, diabetes & heart risks are central features
🔹 Ovarian → ovulation and ovarian dysfunction remain important parts

This historic change followed a massive global consensus involving:
✔️ Thousands of women living with PCOS
✔️ Doctors & researchers worldwide
✔️ International women’s health organizations

Why this matters
Because names shape:
• Awareness
• Diagnosis
• Research
• Treatment
• And most importantly — how women feel seen and understood.

PMOS reflects the condition more accurately and moves the conversation beyond “just cysts.”

Sometimes all you need is one opportunity… and that opportunity was given to me by Bhakti Ma’am

Grateful to the IAPEN India Association Mumbai & Pune Chapter for trusting me with the opportunity to speak in front of 300+ healthcare professionals across Pan India.

Had the privilege to present my session:
“From Report to Plate – Precision Nutrition for Atherogenic Lipoproteins.”

We spoke about looking beyond routine lipid reports and understanding ApoB, Lp(a), remnant cholesterol, fat quality, lifestyle patterns, and precision nutrition in real clinical practice.

A heartfelt thank you to Bhakti Ma’am, Dr. Eileen Candy, and Dr. Prashant for the guidance, encouragement, and platform.

The interaction, questions, and appreciation from fellow dietitians made this experience truly special ✨

Forever grateful for opportunities that allow me to grow, share knowledge, and contribute to evidence-based nutrition practice 🤍

I always dreamed of becoming independent…
but I never knew I would achieve it so early in life ✨

The confidence I carry today
is something I once didn’t even know I was capable of 💫

There were hurdles,
there were moments that tested me…
but somehow, I kept going 😊

And today, I look back at that little girl and say —

You did it, Ami 💛
Thank you, Maa and Paa 🤍

But this isn’t the end…
this is just the beginning ✨

There’s so much more to grow,
so much more to become…

And I’m just getting started 💫

Found an amazing child-friendly munching option – Nachni Littles, from and it’s completely kid-approved!

Perfect for on-the-go travel, short school tiffin breaks, or quick snack moments.

Nachni (Ragi) is naturally rich in:
• Iron – supports healthy growth
• Calcium – strengthens bones
• Fiber – keeps little tummies satisfied

Simple, wholesome and perfect for growing kids who need nourishing bites through the day.

Sometimes the best snacks are the ones kids happily reach for themselves

Weight loss is not a race.
It’s a journey that needs calmness, patience, and consistency.

Just like the ocean behind me —

Small daily habits, balanced meals, good sleep, and mindful eating will create change over time.

✨ Trust the process.
Stay calm.
Stay consistent.
