How to balance your diet/routine while vacationing 🌴
Eat your favourite foods (it’s fries 🍟 for me) but accompany with bowlful of salad + Protein. Balance is key 🔑
Do not take a vacation from your workouts.
A 30 minute jog, weight training or swimming also works. But do something! 💪🏼
Vacation doesn’t mean jeopardising your health and all the progress you’ve made.
Follow the 80:20 rule: 80% healthy eating, 20% treat/cheat meals.

As a Clinical Nutritionist, this is the most unnecessary sacrifice I see my clients make.
Here’s the science behind it:
📌 Rice alone on an empty stomach = rapid glucose spike
📌 Rice + dal + sabzi + fat = significantly lower glycemic impact
📌 Portion size matters more than elimination
📌 Pairing is everything — fibre and protein slow absorption
The problem is never the rice. It is always what it’s eaten with.
Try these combinations:
🍚 Rice + dal + ghee + cucumber salad
🍚 Rice + rajma + onion salad
🍚 Rice + egg curry + stir fried vegetables
🍚 Rice + sambar + a small bowl of curd
💡 Tip: Eat your dal and sabzi first. Rice comes last. Always.
You don’t need to quit rice. You need to eat it smarter.

Who said healthy eating has to be complicated? 👀
This lunch has ~24g protein 💪
🍛 1 bowl rajma chawal
🥣 Greek Yogurt (+8g protein) Milky Mist Dairy Foods
🥗 Salad
A lot of people think they need to stop eating Indian food to eat healthy.
You don’t.
Sometimes, simply adding protein and fibre to the meal you’re already having is enough to make it more balanced.
✔️ Keeps you fuller for longer
✔️ Helps you meet your daily protein intake
✔️ No separate cooking (eat what your family eats)
✔️ No “fancy expensive” ingredients
Healthy eating should fit into your routine—not make it more difficult.

I know that 4PM biscuit 🍪 craving. This hack can kill it. But only if you do it right ✔️
Fruit alone = sugar spike , then a crash, then you’re back in the kitchen in 20 minutes.
Sounds familiar?
Here’s what to do instead: Pair fruits with fat or protein and your body absorbs the fruits sugar (fructose) slowly. Example:
🍎 Apple + peanut butter.
🍌 Banana + curd.
🥭 Mango + a handful of almonds
🫐Berries + Greek Yogurt
No sudden sugar spike. No sudden drop. Hence No craving.
Same fruit, but a completely different effect on your body.
Try this today and share this with who craves sweet ! 🥰.
