Very few notice the skin prep behind it.

A beautiful bridal base contributes almost 50% to how smooth, fresh and long-lasting your makeup looks. The right foundation can’t compensate for the wrong skin prep.

Here’s what I assess before I even pick up my foundation:

✨ Ice therapy (only when needed): Helps calm mild redness and temporarily minimize the appearance of pores. I avoid it on very dry or sensitive skin, where it can increase discomfort.

✨ Moisturizer: The amount and texture completely depend on your skin. Dry skin needs nourishment, while oily skin needs hydration without heaviness. Too much product can cause makeup to slip.

✨ Facial massage: A gentle lymphatic massage helps reduce puffiness, improves circulation and gives the face a naturally fresh appearance before makeup.

✨ Primer: Not everyone needs one. I use it strategically—pore-filling primers for textured areas, hydrating primers for flaky skin, and sometimes no primer at all when the skincare has already created the perfect canvas.

✨ Facial hair removal (when required): Removing fine facial hair before makeup helps create a smoother canvas, allowing foundation and other products to blend more seamlessly. I always consider the skin condition first and choose a gentle method to avoid irritation, especially before a wedding day.

Every bride has different skin.
Every face deserves a different prep.

Great makeup isn’t about using more products it’s about using the right products for your skin.
