It's my grandmother's recepie
* Dry roast fox nuts(Makhana) in a pan,enough to remove moisture,a minute or so. Do this on low to medium flame .Once done,take them out in a plate.
* In the same pan put a teaspoonful of clarified butter (desi ghee). Keep flame on low.
* Once ghee starts melting, add crushed pieces of jaggery. Keep stiring it as jaggery burns very quickly.
* Switch off the flame once the jaggery is melted . Quickly add roasted makhana and coat them with melted jaggery.
*Sprinkle white sesame seeds over these.
* Spread these over a ghee coated plated or on butter paper.
* Once cool store in an airtight jar.
