I had an incredible experience traveling to Iraq with alongside a delegation of entrepreneurs from Jordan and Egypt. What struck me most was the warmth and hospitality of the Iraqi people, from taxi drivers to business leaders, all showcasing the best of their country.

This month, thousands of Palestinian farmers will begin the festivities sorrounding the olive oil seasons as they defy not only the physical obstacle preventing them form reaching their land, but the substantial threats to their safety with settlers roaming around preying on innocent, defenseless farmers

For those who don't know, Olive trees carry more than an economic significance in the lives of Palestinians. They are not just like any another trees, they are symbolic of Palestinians' attachment to their land. Because the trees are draught-resistant and grow under poor soil conditions, they represent Palestinian resistance and resilience.
