We laughed, talked about her festival plans, and shared little stories while I worked. Slowly, the peacock started to take shape on her palms — feathers curling, swirls forming, like it had a life of its own.
By the end, her hands weren’t just decorated !! They were full of her excitement, joy, and Teej spirit. ✨🌿

She sat down, hands outstretched, and said with the sweetest smile, ‘Can you give me roses for Teej?’
