In addition to physical infrastructure, Mogadishu is embracing a digital future. The government has approved key strategies like the Inclusive Digital Policy and the Accelerated Governance Strategy to modernize public institutions and expand digital access. Hormuud Telecom’s rollout of 5G services across the city reflects this shift, offering faster and more reliable connectivity. These combined efforts show a city in revival—determined to overcome challenges and build a secure, prosperous future. Mogadishu’s resilience, strategic planning, and international cooperation are positioning it as a hub of progress in the Horn of Africa.
