5 Things Women Realize When They Start Becoming Themselves
Individuation begins with asking questions.
It’s refusing to let another day be just another day where you wake up, do the same things, experience the same burnout, exhaustion and dissatisfaction with your life, go to sleep, and repeat it all over again.
It’s asking the questions you may be terrified to ask:
Is this life actually my life?
What parts of this life genuinely resonate with me?
What do I want my life to look like?
And what can I actually do to make my life look the way I want it to?
Individuation is deciding that your life is going to be different and then taking the steps required to make it different.
It’s waking up from sleepwalking through your life and choosing to do things differently.
Because if you want a different life, you have to do different.
individuation and the performance of an identity.
Individuation isn't rebellion for the sake of it. It's the quiet, terrifying act of sitting down and asking: "Is this desire mine, or is this just the costume I was taught to wear?"
Stop performing. Start excavating.
