✨ Fashion Week has officially come to an end… and what an incredible journey it has been 🖤

For the first time ever, I had the privilege of working on not one, but three runway shows, each one leaving a very special mark on my heart. ✨ Although it was physically demanding and definitely challenging, every long hour was worth it. One I’ll never forget.

Here are some of my favourite captures of the makeup I created, designed, directed, and led throughout the week🎨💄

It was an absolute pleasure to assist my right hand, Nicole Busuttil on Vanusia Mifsud Vella ‘s vibrant and energetic show❤️
I was also truly honoured to be entrusted with leading the makeup direction for both GABRIELLE FENECH and Rose noire 237 mode For each collection, I developed original makeup concepts that reflected the designers’ vision, personality, and storytelling, while still incorporating my own signature style into every look🤍

Beyond the artistry, one of the greatest highlights was the people 🫶 I met so many wonderful models, hairstylists, photographers, fellow makeup artists, and rising talents, while also reconnecting with some of the industry’s most established creatives. Thank you for every conversation, every laugh, and every shared moment. 🥹

Last but certainly not least, there simply aren’t enough words to thank my own little engines, my special people—who have been by my side long before Fashion Week even began❤️

Funnily enough, I have no fancy photos or BTS from the one time I get to be in front of the camera for my Best Fashion Make-Up Artist nominee video. 😂

So this is all you get… a couple of selfies I sent to my family and closest friends just to make sure my makeup was looking snatched and on point 💄

Being in front of the camera has never been my comfort zone, even though this was my fourth time filming one of these videos. And I don’t think I did too badly… especially considering my jumpsuit zip tore at the back from top to bottom just minutes before we filmed in front of Triton Fountain, of all places! 😅

I’d say that’s a little pat on the back for keeping it together, carrying on with a smile, and proving that the show really does go on.

In the middle of all that, I still get to say I’m honoured to be nominated once again for Best Fashion Make-Up Artist an award I was incredibly grateful to receive last year 🖤

Tomorrow, it’s back to where I belong, rolling up my sleeves backstage at Malta Fashion Week making sure the best of looks step onto the catwalk and our beautiful models are runway-ready 😉
