Heavy Monolids? You Can Still Get a Lift 🤗
Even with heavy monolids,
you can achieve a strong lift —
if you choose the right shield ✨
In this case:
• Heavy eyelids
• Short lashes
I used Petta Curl ① 🤍
And this is the result 👀✨
For this type of eyelid,
it’s important to avoid the eyelid as much as possible while lifting.
That’s why choosing Petta curl shield (C curl) works best ⭕️

For clients who request a strong, straight lift,
I chose the Sui Gyoza rod 🤗
This shield has very little curve from the middle to the tips,
so the result focuses on maximum elevation rather than roundness.

✅Perfect for clients who don’t want C-curl
Another key feature:
The turning point of the Sui Gyoza rod sits lower on the shield.
That means when you remove the shield,
you’ll see a strong curve concentrated closer to the lash roots —

Petta vs Petta Curl — what’s the difference? 🤔
Here’s the simple breakdown:
💟Petta = U Curl
• Stronger upward lift
• Creates a more dramatic elevation
💟Petta Curl = C Curl
• Softer, rounder finish
• Adds more visible curl to the lashes
Both are shields I use very often,
and I highly recommend having both in your kit 🤗
Each series comes in sizes 1–5,
so you can adjust depending on:
• Eyelid type
• Lash length
• Desired lift strength

Thick lashes growing strongly downward 👀
If you want to lift them properly…
✅Choose a smaller shield
✅Pick a shield where the lash tips curl back toward the eyelid
For this case, I used Petta Curl ②,
which creates a strong curve while avoiding the eyelid 🤗✨
👉 As you can see in the after result,
even with a smaller shield, the lift looks loose than expected.
Key points:
🤍For thick lashes growing strongly downward → choose a smaller shield 👍
🤍If the eyelid is heavy, a C curl works best 🫶
