📣📣Upcoming International Pharmaceutical Conference to be Held in Kuching📣📣

Kuching, Sarawak – The vibrant city of Kuching is set to host the inaugural 1st Journal of Pharmaceutical Policy & Practice - Borneo International Pharmaceutical Conference (JoPPP-BIPC 2024) from 20th to 22nd September 2024. This landmark event, themed “Delving into the Future of Medicine and Pharmaceutical Care,” will take place at the Auditorium of Borneo Cultures Museum, bringing together leading minds in the pharmaceutical and medical fields.

Supported by the Sarawak Government, the Conference will be graced by YB Datuk Amar Professor Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Premier of Sarawak and Minister for Public Health, Housing, and Local Government. His presence underscores the significance of this event in advancing the State's healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

As the Organizing Chair Dr Samuel Ting Chuo Yew stated in the welcoming message, "This event promises to be a melting pot of knowledge, innovation, and collaboration. Our goal is to create a platform that fosters insightful discussions, showcases groundbreaking research, and connects professionals and experts from around the globe."

The JoPPP-BIPC 2024 will feature plenary talks from esteemed institutions both globally and locally, such as the University of London, Okayama University, University of Huddersfield, Duke-NUS Medical School, Academia Sinica Taiwan, Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Jakarta, Sarawak Infectious Disease Centre, Sarawak Biodiversity Centre, Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak, and the Clinical Research Centre of Sarawak General Hospital. These presentations will highlight the remarkable achievements of Sarawakians in the fields of medicine and pharmaceutical care, and are expected to open up new avenues for collaboration among scholars, industry leaders, and policymakers.

The organizers are confident that JoPPP-BIPC 2024 will be a milestone event, setting a new standard for future pharmaceutical conferences in the region.
