I watched an interview a woman had with Odogwu Kiwi… and I have not been the same since.

She gave birth to her first child… and never walked again.

No accident.
No crime.
No warning.
Just childbirth.

For five years now, she has been trapped in a body that refused to carry her the very moment she brought life into this world.

I cried. Not polite tears… the kind that come from deep inside your soul.
Because it forced me to remember — I carried three pregnancies. Three. And I walked away whole. No major complications. No life-altering damage. That is not luck… that is mercy.

Do you know what women endure just to bring forth life?

Some develop dangerous high blood pressure.
Some bleed until death is staring at them.
Some come out of the delivery room with strokes, paralysis, organ failure, or lifelong pain.
Some battle depression so dark they no longer recognize themselves.
Some never recover.
And some… never make it home alive.

Yes — some women die in the process of giving birth 💔

And yet… society calls it “normal.”

Men, please… be kind to your wives.

Never ask a woman, “What do you bring to the table?”
She risked her life to build the table.

Pregnancy rearranges her body.
Labor breaks her strength.
Motherhood consumes her sleep, her time, her identity.

Sometimes… it takes her legs.
Sometimes… it takes her health.
Sometimes… it takes everything.
Sometimes… it takes her life.

What offence did that woman commit?
She gave you a child.

To the husbands who stay — who bathe their wives, lift them, feed them, comfort them, choose them again even in brokenness — you are the true definition of love ❤️ You are seen. Heaven sees you.

And to the men who walk away… who insult, cheat, neglect, or abuse the very woman who nearly died bringing your child into this world — if life turned the tables, would you survive what she survived?

To every woman reading this:
You are not weak.
You are not dramatic.
You are not “just a housewife.”

You are a life-giver.
A warrior.
A silent hero.

Your stretch marks tell stories.
Your tears watered generations.
Your pain brought forth nations.

You are loved 🤍
You are seen 👀
Your sacrifice is not forgotten 🙏

Today, I don’t just celebrate women…
I mourn the pain many of them carry in silence 💔
And I pray God heals every wounded mother — physically, emotionally, spiritually.

Motherhood is not ordinary.
It is survival. 🌹
