"The mind can be sick just like the body. Let's talk about mental health without judgment." 💙🧠
Delusion is more than "thinking too much" or being stubborn. It is a false belief that feels completely real to the person experiencing it, even when there is clear evidence against it.
Many young adults silently struggle with mental health challenges. Some believe people are plotting against them, watching them, or talking about them when it isn't true.
These thoughts can affect relationships, work, school, and overall well-being.
Mental illness doesn't always look like sadness. Sometimes, it looks like fear, suspicion, and beliefs that seem impossible to change.
📌Let's replace mockery with understanding and stigma with support. A listening ear and timely professional help can make a world of difference.
Mental health matters. ❤️
Create this awareness even in your little corner.

"They called him mad... but nobody asked what broke him."
At 22, he was the brightest student in his class.
At 24, he started hearing voices no one else could hear.
At 25, his friends stopped answering his calls. Neighbors laughed when they saw him talking to himself. Some said he was cursed. Others said he was possessed.
But what he was actually fighting was SCHIZOPHRENIA

One Step away from becoming a medical Doctor (Final part)
Today, when I look back, I don't see a ruined life😊
I see a lesson.
I see resilience.
I see a young man who lost his way but refused to stay lost.
My story is not about addiction.
It is about recovery.
It is about getting back up after life knocks you down.
It is about discovering that your worst chapter does not have to be your final chapter.
To anyone reading this who feels trapped by addiction, failure, or mental illness, I want you to know something:
The psychiatric hospital was not the end of my story.
The rustication was not the end of my story.
The shame was not the end of my story.
I am still here.
Still healing.
Still fighting.
Still believing that one day I will wear that white coat again.
And when I do, I will carry more than medical knowledge.
I will carry compassion.
💥Because sometimes the people who heal others best are those who have fought their own battles and survived.

I was rusticated from medical school😳🥹
Year 5.
One year away from becoming a doctor.
One letter.
One decision.
Everything I had worked for suddenly disappeared.
I can still remember the silence in my father's voice when I told him.
I can still remember my mother's tears.
Those tears hurt more than any punishment.
For the first time in my life, I saw disappointment on the faces of people who had sacrificed everything for me.
But the worst was yet to come.
📌My mental health deteriorated rapidly.
The addiction had taken a toll I didn't fully understand.
Soon, I found myself admitted to a psychiatric hospital.
The irony was painful.
I had spent years learning how to care for patients.
Now I was the patient😭
The same wards I once dreamed of working in became the place where I fought for my own life.
I felt ashamed.
I felt broken.
I felt like I had become a cautionary tale.
Some people called me a failure
How could a promising medical student end up here?
But something happened during my darkest moments.
I met healthcare workers who treated me with dignity when I couldn't even respect myself.
I met nurses who spoke to me like a human being, not a mistake.
I met doctors who reminded me that illness does not discriminate.
And slowly, very slowly, I began to heal.
Recovery wasn't instant.
It wasn't easy.
It wasn't glamorous.
Some days I took two steps forward and three steps back.
But I kept going.
I learned that addiction is not just about substances.
It's about pain.
It's about loneliness.

I was just one step away from becoming a doctor😭
Whenever I wore my white coat, I felt proud. My family was proud. My parents would introduce me as "our son studying medicine."
Neighbors saw me as a future doctor. Younger students looked up to me.
I had everything going for me.Or so everyone thought.
Behind the smiles and good grades, I was fighting battles nobody knew about.🥹
Medical school was harder than I ever imagined. The pressure was relentless. Every day felt like a race I couldn't afford to lose. I was exhausted, anxious, and constantly afraid of failure.
At first, I turned to unhealthy habits to cope. Then someone offered me something that would "help me relax."
"Just try it once," they said.
I wish I had never listened.
What started as an occasional escape slowly became a dependency.
I told myself I was in control.
I wasn't.
The substance that promised relief slowly stole my peace, my focus, my confidence, and eventually my future.
My grades began to suffer. I became withdrawn. I avoided friends and family. I lied to people I loved.
Then came the day that changed everything.🥹

✅Common Myths About Mental Health Nurses
Many people have misconceptions about mental health nurses. One common myth is that they only work with patients who are violent or dangerous.
In reality, mental health nurses care for people experiencing a wide range of conditions such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and other mental health challenges.
Another myth is that mental health nurses simply give medications. In fact, they provide emotional support, health education, counseling, crisis intervention, and help patients develop coping skills for recovery.
Some people also believe mental illness is a sign of weakness. Mental health nurses understand that mental health conditions are real medical issues that can affect anyone, regardless of age, gender, or background.
Mental health nurses play a vital role in promoting recovery, reducing stigma, and helping individuals achieve better mental well-being.
