🎀 OCTOBER IS BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🎀

Welcome to October — a month dedicated to creating awareness about breast cancer and reminding us that paying attention to our health matters.

Breast cancer can affect women and, although less commonly, men too. One important thing we can do is know our breasts and pay attention to changes that are unusual for us.

🚩 Changes that deserve medical attention include:
• A new lump or swelling in the breast or armpit
• A change in the size or shape of the breast
• Skin changes such as dimpling or unusual thickening
• A ni**le that becomes newly inverted
• Unusual ni**le discharge, especially if bloody
• Persistent changes that do not go away

Having one of these changes does not automatically mean you have breast cancer. Many breast changes have other causes. But it is important not to ignore something that is new or unusual.

Early detection can make a difference, so don't be afraid to seek professional medical advice when something doesn't feel right. 🩷

This October, let's replace fear with knowledge, awareness and action.

The woman who wakes up tired, goes about her daily activities tired, and still has to smile like everything is fine.

Please remember that your body deserves attention, too.

Persistent tiredness is not always something to ignore or simply blame on being busy.

Poor sleep, stress, anaemia, thyroid problems, and other health conditions can contribute to fatigue.

You don't have to diagnose yourself, but you deserve to understand what your body may be telling you.

Ladies, let's be honest…
