Years ago, I didn’t know what taking care of one's skin meant other than using what everyone in the house were using.

Same bath soap to wash everywhere, including the face. We hardly reacted to anything we were introduced to, and we took pride in claiming we had tough skin.

Then came puberty😫

Who would have thought that this transition would take me from looking like a baby with gorgeous skin to experiencing pimples, rashes, dark spots which would later upgrade to Acnes, boils, dryness, skin sensitivity because I didn’t know any better and everyone was recommending what they thought would work.

However, we ended up breaking my skin barrier more and more.

Sometimes it would look like my skin was really getting better and boom 💥 acnes everywhere, they were so painful that even if I don't touch it, just growing on any area of my face would mean a headache for me.

Then, after university, I started learning more about the skin challenges I had and took steps to make it better.

At the time, my former roommate was already formulating skincare, so from 2020-2022, I was getting a few items and doing DIYs I saw on YouTube.

Did the pimples, acnes, hyperpigmentation, and super oiliness go away? Nope🤣

Turns out creating things and using them with little knowledge about measurements, active ingredients, and other important factors can lead to a skin disaster quickly😑.

Thankfully, I met Auntie Violet, and she encouraged me to try Oriflame, and the rest they say is history🥰🫶
