The students of Taraba State University, faculty of health science, Department of Public Health campaigning on( IMPACT OF Dehydration)How to fight against dehydration ,we enlightened people about dehydration and met a very generous man on our campaign ( Name not to be disclosed) requested by him
He said let me share my story with my children. My only sister died of dehydration at her young age and he said continue the good work , many don't know not taking enough water can be harmful and this generous man supported us with 3( three) extra bags of water
We are grateful sir .we continued our journey and finally arrived at GDSS kofai. We educated the student on how to stay hydrated and not suffer from dehydration,we told them to educate their parents and family on dehydration.they were so happy to learn and we asked questions they responded and we they asked questions too.it was really a thrilling moment.

Dehydration is a serious issue that affects millions of people every year. It can cause a range of health problems, from mild symptoms such as headaches and fatigue, to more severe conditions like kidney failure and heat stroke. That's why we're launching the "Stay Hydrated, Stay Healthy: Join the Fight Against Dehydration!" campaign.

Our goal is to promote awareness about the importance of staying hydrated, especially during hot summer months when dehydration is more likely to occur. We want to encourage people to drink plenty of water and other hydrating fluids, and to take steps to prevent dehydration-related illnesses.

Here are some tips to help you stay hydrated and healthy:

1. Drink plenty of water: Aim to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water per day, or more if you're exercising or spending time outside in the heat.

2. Eat hydrating foods: Foods like watermelon, cucumbers, and tomatoes are high in water content and can help you stay hydrated.

3. Avoid alcohol and caffeine: These can dehydrate you, so it's best to limit your consumption.

4. Stay cool: Avoid spending too much time in the sun or in hot temperatures, and take breaks in air-conditioned environments.

5. Monitor your urine color: If your urine is dark yellow or amber, you may be dehydrated. Aim for pale yellow or clear urine to indicate you are well-hydrated.

Join us in the fight against dehydration by making a commitment to stay hydrated and encouraging others to do the same. By working together, we can reduce the number of people suffering from dehydration-related illnesses and create healthier communities.
