This week’s fruit haul said: we are choosing variety! 😂🍇🍉🥭

Grapes, blueberries, pomegranate, apples, kiwi, passion fruit, guava, mango, frozen strawberries, frozen blackcurrants, oranges, pawpaw, watermelon and bananas.

Some will be eaten fresh, some will become smoothies, and some have already been turned into fresh orange + watermelon juice and popped into the freezer. 🍊🍉

I’ve been learning that healthy eating doesn’t have to mean eating the same “healthy” foods every day. Variety matters too, different fruits give you different nutrients, flavours and ways to enjoy them.

And yes, when I eventually reach for my honey, it will definitely be Oyin Amofin 💯 natural honey. 🍯🤎

Here’s to making healthier choices that are actually enjoyable and sustainable. 🥂

Which fruit are you picking first? 👀😂

Passion fruit, Guava, Mango, Frozen strawberry, frozen black currant bought from STRAWBERRY NIGERIA
Others: Ketu Fruit Market

GUESS WHERE OYIN AMOFIN IS TODAY? 🇬🇧💃🏽🍯

A customer bought our honey here in Nigeria and loved it so much that she gave one bottle to her sister.
Her sister loved it too! 🥹

The only issue? Our customer was in the UK and had to wait until she found someone who could take the remaining bottles to her.

Well… yesterday, she finally received it! 💃🏽😂

Moments like this remind me that what we are building is bigger than selling bottles of honey. It is about creating a product people are happy to share, recommend and come back for.

Thank you for trusting Oyin Amofin ma'am. We love you! ❤️

A little reminder because apparently, even people who see my honey posts regularly can still be unsure about this. 😂🍯

Honey doesn't always stay runny ‼️👌

Pure, raw honey can naturally crystallise and become thick, grainy or almost solid. That's a natural process caused by the sugars in honey forming crystals.

Crystallised honey ≠ spoiled honey.
Crystallised honey ≠ sugar added to honey.

So before you throw that jar away because it has changed texture, ask questions first 🙏❤️

And yes, I think I need to talk about this again and again until nobody is throwing perfectly good honey in the bin because it crystallised. 😂
