This patient reached out to us in April 2026 because she had ingrown toenails affecting both big toes.

Both toes were inflamed and hurts badly. She is unable to wear closed shoes.

Ingrown toenail is one of the nail concerns we see regularly at the clinic. For some, it started after having a pedicure, while some said the felt pain and decided to trim out the corner then the nail became inflamed and very painful.

The fourth product we are showcasing is called DermaFIX-IT Foot & Shoe Spray. This product is also the third product in our AthletiCURE Kit.

After deciding to curate products that will address athlete’s foot, it was time to pick the exact kind of products that will do the job.

We knew that a WASH was a must have in the kit so we curated DermaFIX-IT Purifying Wash. Next was a spray that could be applied in between the toes and also used to treat the shoes. We went researching and finally settled for Zinc pyrithoine and Ichthammol as actives for this important product.

This products helps to stop that itching, redness and flaking that comes with athlete’s foot and other hyperkeratotic skin conditions.

Finally, treating just your feet and forgetting your shoes is a waste of time and resources. Wearing the same untreated shoes will just keep you going in circle with no permanent result.
