Urgent Call to Northern Nigeria Communities and People

The Arewa Unity Forum strongly urges all Northern Nigeria communities and people to stay away from repatriation of individuals who aligned with the ruling party APC. These are people who uphold virtues of dishonesty that legalized corruption as an unaccountable process of political administrative governance to siphon resources and funds of the public.

They believed in illegality and have no plans for promoting the future possibilities of others, but only their personal interests. They have no idea of sharing their success with others, but only misappropriating funds and resources meant for socio-economic well-being of their society.

The appointment of former Governors from Bauchi, Nasarawa, and Katsina State to head the Renewed Hope Agenda campaigns team is a clear indication of the president's intentions. These individuals have a history of crippling the socio-economic well-being of their people and communities, leaving behind unimaginable burdens of debts and destroying the political hope and confidence of their people.

The Arewa Unity Forum knows that the people of Northern Nigeria are suffering under the current administration's policies, including subsidy removal and unnecessary taxes enforcement. The president's actions are sabotaging democratic values and leadership prospects, and undermining the pride of the people and communities of Northern Nigeria.

We warn against any attempts to campaign or arouse interest in supporting and voting for president Bola Ahmed Tinubu's second term bid. The people of Northern Nigeria will not be deceived and will not forget the injustices they have suffered.

It is time for a change, and we call on all Northerners to unite and demand better governance and leadership. We will not be swayed by empty promises and will continue to advocate for the rights and interests of the people of Northern Nigeria.

The appointments of Reno Omokiri and Femi Fani Kayode to the Ambassadorial list are a clear indication of the president's character and the type of people he surrounds himself with.
