And every beautiful result starts with the right strategy👌

This client came with uneven natural pigmentation. The upper lip was darker with several lighter patches, while the lower lip had a cool, dark border and a naturally pink center closer to the wet line🩷

Instead of covering everything with one color, I first neutralized the darker, cooler areas on the upper lip and along the border of the lower lip with a corrector💛

Next, I blended the lighter patches on the upper lip to create an even base.

Only then did I apply the target shade over the entire lips to achieve one harmonious color 🥰

Because of the high melanin content, the lips look brighter and warmer immediately after the treatment. As they heal, the natural cool undertone softens the pigment, revealing a more natural, cooler pink shade.

Dark lips are often more sensitive, so swelling immediately after the treatment is completely normal and usually subsides within a few hours 🕔
