Looks A Louer

I was not sure about a full goth look to Elfia. But I made the skirt for a photo shoot 2 weeks prior. The top is from my pirate costume, adjusted a few details and it matched so wel. My idea was to make a corset for Elfia to go with it. But this set matched so well. I did mean it was a very dark costume. While I personally love goth looks, it is not my go to for Elfia. But man do I loved how it turned out. Added a blonde wig for a bit of contrast in te look. Love this wig so much I am considering changing my hair similar to the wig. Day 2 was a real blast, and I managed to whip up something sparkly and fancy-schmancy with a headdress it completes the look! 👑 When you're at Elfia, you gotta bring your A-game - think fabulous outfit, blingin' jewelry, and a headpiece that screams 'I'm a fashion icon!' 📸 And let's be real, with paparazzi lurking around every corner, you gotta look FLAWLESS 😂. I usually go for bright colors, but the rain had me like, 'Goth mode, activate!' ⚰️ And honestly, I'm kinda obsessed with this dark side... can't wait for the next Elfia 🎉! Elfia weekend = new dress alert! I mean, who shows up in last year's rags? 😂 This year's challenge was to out-sparkle the sparkliest fabric I found (glitterstones for days, folks!). And because one can never have too much bling, I added some silvery details and a tiara (borrowed from a friend, because sharing is caring... and I have a tiara surplus 🤣). Now all I need is a knight in shining armor to complete the look... or at least a decent selfie angle. Pics by Michel Lin.

Sometimes all you need is inspiration and a bit of time. After 15 years of cosplay I just decided to wing it a few days before castlefest and it turned out awesome! So happy with this cosplay. You might noticed the cosplays are less princessy of late. Just wanted something different this year. But no worries. For Elfia Arced I will make a princess worthy dress. Photo's by Peter Pouls.
