Chronic pain?
Recurring injuries?
Symptoms that won’t go away no matter how hard you try?
Tried physio and it didn’t help?

These folks are our people we help get PAST the above.

To get you living with less pain, less setbacks, less injuries and actually bridge the gap from physio session to be capable and confident to train again 👊🏼

It’s interesting when. It comes to our bodies and how we move and feel as it’s often one of the last things people will seek help with.

They think they can figure it out on their own, but years of pain and feeling sh*tty shows it isn’t really working.

People will hire professionals for things like accounting, building, renovating, kids music lessons, mechanics etc…but hesitate when it comes to the one body they have to live their one life in? 🤔

You don’t have to keep struggling.

We can help - drop us DM “INFO” and we can have a chat and see what you need, what you’ve tried and what the next 12 weeks could look like✨

What people can get back to and do this over and over again speaks to how this work truly changes your life.

This client committed to the process.
She started off with a lot of worry, fear and felt fragile.
Years of pain and long periods where she couldn’t do what she used to.
Operated on her knee - the road hasn’t been easy but she was stuck in her rehab.

She came on board and said she loved waterskiing and used to do it.

We put in the work. We worked together.

When you get this video in your messages it seriously makes me tear up 🥹 This is more than just getting back and ripping it on the ski (which is so impressive).

It’s about confidence.
Trust.
And freedom to live again 🙌🏼

Health and fitness and deeply intertwined.

We train to feel capable and strong to support our well-being and set ourselves up for life, to live a full life.

How we feel mentally and emotionally can play a significant role in our physical well-being.

The balance between the two is the goal (for me;)

The best tips I’ve learned this past year that played a huge role in it being a year where I’ve felt my strongest and pushed myself the hardest as well as enjoyed so many wonderful new experiences and met so many amazing people are rooted in:

1. Set a goal - be consistent with training
2. Be a part of a community. Be around others ❤️
3. Have fun - don’t take it all too serious:)

Thanks for all of you for making this year one where I feel so much gratitude for and excited for what’s next ✨

Proud of this week 👊🏼
New challenges, new beginnings and a whole lot of consistency in this group.

Results are not random; they are the direct product of doing basic stuff consistently over and over again.

Success usually comes down to mastering the fundamentals and progressively challenging yourself as you repeat these day in and day out.

When you stick to the basics, you build momentum.

It’s what we do well in our studio, in Resilient and in Starting Blocks - and we have new beginners, new moms, women starting at 60+ into strength training and clients running marathon PBs.

It’s the biggest secret that with effort and consistency gives you freedom and ability to keep training. Keep running. Keep building 🙌🏼

Sharing a little coaching today (for those up for learning 🧠)

This is a common experience for many when they start doing exercises like lunges.

Why it’s happening and how to fix it can’t be answered in a reel on the gram but this gives you some insight into why this might be happening.

And more importantly, what can we think about to improve the quality of the movement without getting too complicated with a million props.

Using hands as feedback, reaches to shift our position and slowing down….(of this is hard for so many ppl!) AND finally not going to your full range as you start but aim for 70% 🍑

(Hypermobile folks pay close attention to last two suggestions)

This can really improve the exercise and the exercise will be the way to actually build more capacity, more strength, more mobility 🙌🏼

Imperfectly consistent is going to give you more overall capacity for the vast majority of people.

Because when it comes down to it, often women over 40 are not strength training enough.

We need more practice, more time and effort in the right place.
Hyper-fixating on minor adjustments is only setting you back.

Start here, then once this foundation is built and consistent we can refine.

✌🏼
