This is a very special one for us.

Our beautiful client came to us with severe rosacea, significant redness and extremely reactive, compromised skin. She had also been using skincare that simply wasn’t right for her skin and was adding to the problem.

We stripped everything back and started again - correcting her skincare routine, introducing a simple but effective medical-grade homecare plan and supporting her skin in clinic with ClearSilk laser to target deeper redness and help improve overall skin health. 🤍

Our girls deserve the very best. That was the thought - so we took all 13 of us to Byron Bay for three unforgettable nights ✨ 🤍

The most incredible luxury accommodation Villa Riad Byron Bay our own private chef Diego Lucchi (everyone needs Diego in their lives) beautiful restaurants, dancing, tarp reading by our own Guru Renjini, probably a little too much ch*****ne, and whale watching that genuinely became a core memory for all of us. 🥹

Every little detail was special. Very us. Very extra. And exactly how we wanted it to be.

It’s actually quite emotional looking back at these photos. What a privilege it is to build something together, to work alongside such an incredible group of women, to look after our clients every day - and then be able to give some of that love and energy back to the people who make Clinic 1 what it is.

It really is this constant circle of energy, and we feel very lucky to be in it.

Our hearts are very full. And this trip will be very hard to beat.

We are incredibly excited to finally share that we have purchased Bloom in Karaka — and it will soon become Clinic 1 Karaka, our third Clinic 1 location!

And for this new chapter, we’ve joined forces with our long-time friend and industry colleague Bhavna, who many of you will already know from iS Clinical. Together, the three of us are very excited to take Bloom into its next chapter.

Bloom is a beautiful, established clinic with a loyal community, wonderful clients and an incredible team. When the opportunity came to bring Bloom into the Clinic 1 family, it simply felt right.

For existing Bloom clients, you’ll continue to see the familiar faces you know and trust. But you’ll also start to see a lot more.

Over the coming months, Bloom will transition to Clinic 1 Karaka, and we’ll be bringing more of the Clinic 1 offering to South Auckland — advanced laser and light technology, expanded injectables, new skin treatments, new skincare brands and some very exciting new devices.

Our vision is to build on the incredible foundation already here, while bringing the experience, technology and treatment philosophy we’ve developed across Clinic 1 Auckland and Christchurch to Karaka.

Sometimes melasma can look a little too much like a moustache 👀Moxi laser to the rescue!

Melasma is complex. It’s chronic, it has multiple triggers, and there is no one-size-fits-all treatment or quick fix.

Moxi is one of the tools we use at Clinic 1 to help manage melasma safely and effectively — targeting unwanted pigmentation while working with the skin, not aggressively against it.

For this client, pigmentation across the cheeks, nose and particularly the upper lip was a concern. And just look at the difference 🤍

Melasma may be stubborn, but there is still so much we can do to improve it, manage it and support our clients long-term.
