Hello, hi, I’m Romy, a holistic skin therapist who started practicing holistic skin therapy before it was a “thing”.

I took my beauty therapy diploma, added a clinica nutrition diploma, and my lifetime LOVE for everything natural (skincare included) and created what I saw women needed.

Someone who could help them with chronic skin conditions, with sustainable and manageable treatments, homecare, advice, nutritional guidance and lifestyle recommendations.

I had my practice, The Beauty Elixir, where women came to “fix” their skin and left high on loving themselves and the way they now felt inside - for 5 years, before closing our doors to have my babies.

My babies are now 5.5 and (2) almost 3 year olds, and I’m ready to start serving women in the best way I know how again. By helping you create long term, healthy, sustainable changes in your diet, lifestyle and skincare to create your healthiest skin from the inside out, and the oitside in✨

Late night musings on the beauty industry… are you type 1 or type 2? I mean it when I say - I want to change the way women view beauty and themselves 🙏🏼🤍✨ I think as women we hold such power, but that power comes from knowing ourselves deeply. Knowing ourselves deeply can be scary, difficult work, but a woman who has done the work walks through the world differently, you can just tell. She is magnetic✨

Something is shifting in beauty culture and I think it’s worth naming.

When every face starts to look the same - smooth, tight, lifted - it slowly makes the rest of us ask if our faces aren’t enough.

I’ve spent nearly 20 years looking after my skin, and I know what healthy skin looks like, and still, I catch myself wondering if my 40-year-old face, with its texture, its movement, its life, measures up. Imagine what this culture is doing to our young girls, our daughters and our teens?

This is not a personal failing, but rather the predictable result of a beauty standard that’s once again shifting into an “ideal” - and one that’s so accessible that your neighbour is getting it, your daughter’s teacher is getting it, it feels like every second woman is prescribing to it.

Real skin has pores. Real faces move. Real women age.

I’m not against anyone’s choices, I’m for reclaiming the wider definition of beautiful that we’ve been slowly talked out of.

This is why I’m so passionate about reminding you that beauty is SO MUCH MORE than skin-deep. It’s how you FEEL. It’s a body treated like the temple it is, nourished, and through this nourishment, vibrancy is but a stunning by-product.

I’ve created easy to pick up and implement rituals to help you enhance your natural feeling of beauty and natural radiance - Skinspiration, my guide to creating true beauty from within - using what you eat, and physical practices to support your gut, your liver, your nervous system and your lymphatic system, because they all work together to help you not only LOOK good, but to FEEL great.

And once you have the inside sorted, the outside can be simple. I created my own small skincare range because I truly believe that skincare can be natural AND powerful.
