The biggest bridal makeup mistake I see?

Bringing a Pinterest photo to your trial and expectations of it to look exactly the same.

Inspiration is incredibly helpful but it’s only one piece of the puzzle.

The look also needs to work with:
• Your skin type
• Your eye shape
• Your natural colouring
• Your dress and hairstyle
• The lighting on your wedding day
• Most importantly… how you want to feel.

That’s why no two brides who sit in my chair leave looking exactly alike.

My role isn’t to recreate someone else’s face.

It’s to create the version of the look that suits you.

Save this for your bridal trial, and when you’re choosing inspiration photos, look beyond the makeup look for the feeling you’re trying to achieve. 🤍

We could have played it safe…We didn’t!!
Ball season is often full of soft neutrals, champagne shimmers and playing it safe.

But every now and then a client sits in my chair and gives me permission to create something a little bolder.

A little more editorial.
A little more unexpected.

The rich red/pink tones, graphic wing and soft glossy lip came together perfectly against her colouring and proved that sometimes the most memorable looks aren’t the safest ones.

Because makeup isn’t always about fitting in.

Sometimes it’s about expressing exactly who you are!

Look created for the gorgeous Areeya!

Nobody remembers how early the alarm went off.

They don’t remember the hairspray cloud, the timeline stress, the weather forecast, or the million little things that had to happen before this moment.

They remember how they felt.

Calm.
Confident.
Beautiful.

And that’s why I do what I do.

After 8 Korean lash lift models, here’s my verdict 👇

• More length-focused than curl-focused
• Softer grow-out
• Beautiful on short to medium-length lashes
• Not necessarily better than a traditional lift just different

The biggest lesson?

The best lash lift is about choosing the right technique for the lashes in front of you.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up.

The results people admire rarely come from one big moment. They come from the small things done over and over again, even when motivation is low, confidence is shaky, or progress feels slow.

Consistency won’t always look glamorous. Some days it looks like taking the next step when nobody is watching!

Your wedding makeup shouldn’t be the first time you’ve seen yourself wearing that much makeup.

Bridal beauty isn’t about piling on products until you’re unrecognisable. It’s about enhancing what’s already there and creating a look that feels timeless, not trendy.

Because the most beautiful brides aren’t the ones wearing the most makeup.

They’re the ones who still look like themselves.

If you’re the kind of bride who wants to feel like the best version of yourself not a completely different person you’re my kind of bride.

As the seasons change, so does my makeup routine.

In summer, my skin naturally produces more oil, so I often reach for products that help control shine and increase longevity.

But winter is a completely different story.

Between heaters, air conditioning, colder temperatures and spending more time indoors, my skin can start feeling dehydrated and makeup can look drier than I’d like.

That’s when I start reaching for:
💦 Hydrating serum mists
✨ Cream bronzers
🌟 Skin tints

Not because they’re trending.

Because they help me create the fresh, skin-like finish I love while working with what my skin actually needs during winter.

Does your skin change with the seasons too? What is your go to winter makeup essential??
