We've dipped into our archives and brought back an old favourite, just in time for the school holidays ☕🍞

Between the busy days, slow mornings, adventures, movies, and everything else the holidays bring, it's nice to make time for a few simple pleasures... like a homemade Boysenberry & Plum Loaf, still slightly warm from the oven and enjoyed over a cuppa.

Made with Red Seal Plum & Boysenberry Hot or Cold Brew, this recipe is well worth revisiting 👇

Red Seal Boysenberry & Plum Loaf

3/4 cup caster sugar
3 eggs
1/3 cup greek yoghurt
1 tbsp pre-brewed Red Seal Plum & Boysenberry Hot or Cold Brew
2 tbsp mild extra virgin olive oil
1 cup standard flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
Finely grated zest of one small lemon
1 cup boysenberries (fresh or frozen)
2 tbsp flaked almonds
icing sugar, for dusting

Preheat the oven to 180C. Grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
Whisk the caster sugar and eggs until creamy then add the yoghurt, oil, flour, baking powder and pre-brewed Red Seal Hot or Cold brew.
Mix until smooth then stir in the vanilla and lemon zest.
Stir through most of the boysenberries (leave some for the top).

Pour mixture in the lined loaf tin then top with berries and flaked almonds
Bake for 40-45 minutes or until pale golden and a skewer withdraws clean.
Cool and serve with a dust of icing sugar. Enjoy 😜

We have to admit; we're getting a bit of a kick out of seeing these out in the wild 🤳

Most of the time, toothpaste lives a fairly quiet life. It sits on the bathroom shelf, does its job, and gets on with things. So, it's been quite nice seeing huge tubes suddenly show up on billboards around New Zealand, looking far more important than toothpaste usually does.

We learnt a surprising amount about moss while putting these packs together. Turns out it's incredibly hardworking. It survives in tough conditions, helps support ecosystems, and has been quietly doing its thing for hundreds of millions of years without a LinkedIn profile, a podcast, or a personal brand 🌿

As we pulled our Hardworking by Nature NZ creator packs together, we wanted to make them reflect the thinking behind the campaign. That meant choosing materials that could either be recycled or returned to nature when they've served their purpose. The moss is real and biodegradable, the cardboard box can be recycled, and even our toothpaste tubes are recyclable.

The only thing that isn't quite there yet is the cap. We're still working on that one, because like most worthwhile things, progress doesn't always happen overnight.

A huge shoutout to the incredible team at Kindness Collective Foundation, who work year-round to help ensure Kiwi families have access to everyday essentials when they need them most.

This winter, their programmes supported thousands of people across Aotearoa through a network of community organisations. We're proud to have played a small part by donating 1,242 tubes of toothpaste to help support their mahi. 💚
