May/June mamas you feel me!?

16/03/2026

Because I just could not be bothered setting up a barbell today! πŸ˜… Just ticked over 27 weeks, starting to get some light pelvic girdle pain which is to be expected with 2 babies. But continued movement is priority and everything is adaptable. Aiming for 2-3 sessions per week at the moment.

Feeling strong πŸ’ͺ🏻 , the slow cut and a body recomp
the last 3 months of my bulk didnt go well, i lost strength, endurance and most likely muscle from being so low in iron - i was failing lifts, my heart rate was out of control, i couldnt get through sets without stopping to catch my breath and was not happy about it
I have now been taking iron supplements for about 7 weeks the same amount of time as i have been cutting
Iv reduced calories and noticed my body composition start to change while my weight has only dropped a small amount on the scale Im guessing im making up for what i lost and went through a mini recomp .
My energy is up! My work in the gym is going really well and feel on track which is the most important thing

Getting closer to summer and in the warmer weather i love salads! πŸ₯— They are so easy to chuck together quickly or prepare for work, you can make them as high or low calorie as you like. This one was yummy!
Chicken and beet salad
437 calories
Carbs - 22g
Protein - 28g
Fat- 26g
30g of baby spinach
70g shredded chicken
50g of shredded beetroot
30g food snob feta in oil
10g walnuts
6g pumpkin seeds
18g kikkoman honey and soy sauce
πŸ— Buying shredded chicken from the deli part of the supermarket or buying a whole cooked chicken is a great way to make sure you have protein on hand that is ready to go with no cooking required
🌱Pre Shredded beetroot you can buy in a packet near the bagged lettuce, another quick way to add a tasty and crunchy texture while getting necessary vitamins and phytonutrients into your diet.
