The difference is everything that comes with it. Bone broth is made from bones, joints and cartilage, so you also get glucosamine and chondroitin for your joints, hyaluronic acid for your skin, and calcium and magnesium for hydration, sleep and bone support. Collagen powder is made from hides and skins, broken down into peptides.⁠

We chose bone broth because it's the whole food rather than one isolated part of it, and because it's barely processed. Just bones and water.⁠

The ultimate lactation cookie

Inspired by the beautiful Nadia Lim recipe, we’ve given it a Bhone boost to pack in protein, collagen, synbiotics and extra nourishment for those big early weeks.

Here’s why these are the ultimate snack for your milk supply + recovery:

🌾 Oats: a traditional milk-supply staple, with slow-release energy, fibre and iron to get you through the night feeds

🌿 Fennel: a lactation go-to for centuries, thanks to a natural compound called anethole that’s thought to gently support the hormones behind milk production, and it’s soothing for digestion too

🍺 Brewer’s yeast: rich in B vitamins, protein and minerals, and a go-to in lactation baking

🍫 Dark chocolate: because you deserve it, plus magnesium, iron and antioxidants for a little mood lift

THE RECIPE
2¼ cups fine rolled oats
½ cup coconut sugar
2 servings Bhone
1–2 tbsp brewer’s yeast
2 tbsp ground flaxseed or LSA
1 tbsp fennel seeds, toasted + crushed
1 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
50g dark chocolate, chopped
100g butter, melted (or coconut oil)
1 egg

Mix the oats, coconut sugar, Bhone, brewer’s yeast, flaxseed, fennel, cinnamon and salt. Stir through the melted butter and egg, then fold in the dark chocolate. Roll into tablespoon balls, flatten with a fork and bake at 180°C for 12–14 mins until golden. Keeps a week, or freeze for your night-feed stash.
