✨ FOREVER YOUNG MAKEUP CLASS IS COMING BACK TO AUCKLAND! ✨

After being away for a few months with my back injury — and after so many of you asking when I was going to do another Auckland class — I’m excited to announce that Forever Young is back! 💄❤️

This class is especially designed for women 30+ who want to learn how to use makeup to create a more youthful, lifted and fresh appearance — without looking overly made up.

I’ll be sharing my techniques for creating a mini facelift with makeup, including contouring and highlighting to reshape and lift the face, working with mature skin, and techniques for hooded eyes and other areas that can become more challenging as our faces change.

This will be a look-and-learn style class — you can sit back, relax and watch me demonstrate the complete makeup application step-by-step on a model, while I explain exactly what I’m doing and, more importantly, why I’m doing it.

You’ll also receive a detailed printout so you can take all the information home with you and refer back to it when doing your own makeup.

Once we’ve finished, I’ll personally assess and colour-match each of you, so I can recommend the exact foundation shade, colours and products that best suit you and your skin.

And the best part? You’ll be able to purchase any of the products I’ve used on you during the class, so you can recreate your look at home with confidence. 💕

SCHOOL HOLIDAY MAKEUP LESSONS FOR TEENAGERS 💄✨

With the school holidays officially starting tomorrow, I’ve decided to put aside some time to offer a few private makeup lessons specifically for teenagers who are starting to become interested in makeup and want to learn how to do it properly.

Let’s be honest… young girls LOVE going into makeup stores and can very quickly spend a small fortune! 😂 The problem is that they often end up buying products they don’t really need, simply because they don’t know what works for them yet.

I truly believe that learning the right techniques and understanding what products you actually need is so important. That way, when they do want to buy makeup, they can make those choices with knowledge and confidence rather than just buying everything that looks pretty on the shelf. 😉

I always say that women should ideally have two important makeup lessons in their lifetime — one when they’re teenagers and first becoming interested in makeup, and another in their mid-30s or 40s when we start noticing changes in our skin, features and face shape. Because as our face changes, our makeup techniques need to change too!

These lessons will be completely hands-on. Rather than me simply doing their makeup for them, they will be doing their own makeup from start to finish, while I guide them through every step. This way, they really understand how and why each technique works and, most importantly, they’ll be able to recreate the look themselves at home.

I’ll also give them all the steps and techniques to take home, so they have something to refer back to whenever they’re doing their makeup. 💕

For these school holidays, I’ll be offering a limited number of private lessons for teenage girls. The lesson can be one-on-one or done as a small group with friends, making it a fun activity to do together during the holidays.

✨ JOELLE’S GLAM TRANSFORMATION ✨

I had the pleasure of getting beautiful Joelle ready for a photoshoot she had today, before heading into town to celebrate her partner’s birthday. 🥂✨

And seriously… HOW AMAZING ARE HER EYES?! 😍 Those gorgeous blue-green eyes were just made for this kind of glam!

Because Joelle was having professional photos taken, I went a little stronger with the highlighting and contouring than I normally would. Professional lighting and flash can wash out dimension, so I wanted to create that beautiful 3D effect that would photograph beautifully while still looking flawless in person.

And of course, every single product used on Joelle is from my own brand, Debbie Delgado Cosmetics. ❤️

My foundations are lightweight, waterproof and designed to stay put — because I want my clients to look flawless not just when they leave my chair, but right until they wash their makeup off.
