The short version: a traditional extension is built up on top of the nail, so you can often see and feel the added thickness. With a European structure, the strongest part of the nail (the apex) is built into a smooth, blended shape you can’t see or feel. The result is a slimmer, more natural-looking nail that’s still strong enough to hold its shape.
We use a dual form to guide the shape, so every nail comes out even, whether you’re after added length or not.
