🌸 BLOSSOM FESTIVAL THIS SATURDAY! 🌸

Hastings Blossom Festival is taking over town this Saturday, and with the parade coming right past our street, things are going to be a little different around the shop.

🚗 The important bit: There will be no parking on our street or the surrounding streets during the festival, so if you’re booked in with us, make sure you plan ahead and give yourself a bit of extra time to get to the shop.

We’ll be open as usual and getting amongst the Blossom Festival atmosphere — we just don’t want anyone getting caught out trying to find a park five minutes before their appointment 😅

So plan your parking, allow a little extra travel time, enjoy the festivities, and we’ll see you in the chair! 💈🌸

We don’t ask for much.

Today’s for the Dads.

Over the years, these old chairs have had a lot of men sit in them.

They’ve seen dads bringing their sons in for their first cuts. Grandads sharing stories. New dads running on no sleep. And generations of men sitting down for a yarn, a laugh and a haircut.

If these chairs could talk, they’d have a few stories to tell.

So today, we’re thinking about all the Dads who’ve sat in them, and all the lessons, laughs and stories that have been passed down from one generation to the next.

To the dads doing their best every day, the grandads passing down a lifetime of wisdom, the stepdads who stepped up, and the father figures who chose to show up, thank you.

And to those missing their Dad today, or for whom Father’s Day feels a little different, we’re thinking of you too.
