After many wonderful years, it’s time for a new chapter ❤️ Owning and running Woman Beauty & Day Spa has been an incredible journey filled with memorable moments, challenges, growth, and wonderful client relationships.

After nearly 30 years in the beauty industry and 11 years dedicated to Woman Beauty, I have decided to step back from business ownership and begin a new chapter. I’m looking forward to taking some time for myself, exploring my love of drawing and watercolours, spending more time travelling with my daughter, and considering what opportunities may come next professionally.

With a mixture of excitement and emotion, I am delighted to share that Woman Beauty & Day Spa has been sold and will be under new ownership from 19 October. Monica McNally will be taking over the business, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and passion for caring for people. I know she will be warmly welcomed by our wonderful clients.

Are you planning on getting your first spray tan anytime soon and have no idea how to prep for it? Don’t you worry….

Prep (Before tan)
- Exfoliate- scrub your skin with an oil free exfoliant/mitt 24 hours prior to your appointment.

- Hair removal - Complete shaving at least 8 to 24 hours prior or complete waxing at least 24 to 48 hours prior to tan, to allow pores to close.

- Skip products- Arrive with clean and dry skin free from lotions, oils, perfumes, deodorants and makeup. These create a barrier and cause patchiness or discolouration.

- Wear loose clothing - Bring loosing fitting, dark clothing and open toe shoes to wear home so the tan doesn’t rub off.

After:
- Stay dry - Avoid water, sweating and touching your skin for the 2/3 hours the wet tan in on your skin.

- First rinse - Shower using lukewarm water ONLY - no soap, shampoo or scrubs. Let the water run until it clears.

- Moistures daily - Once the tan has fully developed, hydrate your skin everyday with a non abrasive, tan safe moisturiser.
